Heyo, I'm sorry to blow up this forum with questions, thank you for everyone's help and advice.

I installed the following parts to upgrade my Bronco sound system, and I'm experiencing some issues that I could use some help with. Here are the details of the install and what's going on:

I hear slight static during certain songs, and it seems to be coming from the dash speakers, although it's hard to pinpoint. I turned off the Ford EQ and made the rear speakers full range instead of tweeters in ForScan. I ran the power for the amp from the battery and grounded the amp underneath the steering column.

I want this system to be as good as possible and install the sub, but the slight static is driving me crazy. Are there any car stereo pros out there who can help? Is it possible that my ground is the issue? Should I extend it to the chassis ground in the engine compartment?

Kicker 46CSC674 for the kick panels

Well solved my problem this is a Spotify issue. I'm working through changing the audio playback settings in the app. It doesn't do it in Apple Music or Sirius, very odd that it started when a quality stereo was installed. Odd. Leaving this post up incase someone has the same issue.

Another thing you're going to run into is that the bluetooth codec that Ford opted to use for the head unit is pretty low bandwidth. So you may hear clipping at certain frequencies at the high end or low end

local files on a usb stick is pretty much it. also not sure if the 12" model maybe has a different BT chipset in it perhaps. I just know that *my* '21 with an 8" screen is pretty kneecapped.

I use Spotify on Android and have aftermarket speakers. I've heard some static on certain frequencies on the front passenger speaker but last night it went across the whole dash and still present regardless of the source. I get it using Android Auto, AM/FM and Sirius.
