Anyone mod rear seat

Specifically 4door. After a trip passenger mentioned how upright the seats are. I have them in the full back position. There seems to be quite a bit of room to recline more. Thinking of looking at catch mechanism and see if it can be modified or machined to recline another notch. Pic is of the mid matched rear seat angle compared to rear side trim.

This would be fantastic, in their most reclined position they are still too upright

Lift up on the level at the top of the rear seat (same one you use to fold it down) and push the seatback toward the rear of the vehicle. There are only 2 notches where the seat locks in. The first is a pretty upright seating location, and the second is slightly more reclined.

As a 2-door owner with them removed entirely for a slide out tray (so this doesn't have any relevance), that seems like a really bad idea and could potentially (worse case) open you up to litigation in case of an accident where the seats fail and there are long-term injuries. I'm extremely risk averse and try to avoid anything that could ruin my comfortable retirement / nest egg.
