Bronco build quality

I have to say after driving jeeps for the past 24 years and recently purchasing a bronco Lux wildtrak the build quality feels like a Kmart special on the bronco compared to the higher end rubicons….. and there is way too much electronic shit happening ….still digging it though

Yup. Lots of electronics on today’s vehicles. Keeps dealers part changers/service dept busy long after the sale. Manufacturers can’t help themselves. They just keep adding more. Remember it is just a 40k vehicle with lots of lipstick and high profit add ons at your trim level.

Scrap the Lux and there’s less to complain about, and maybe leather , and Wildtrak , etc .

Broncos now days have lots of electronics--as all vehicles do-- but still this site has numerous comments about, "It should have had cooling seats, it should have had power mirrors...it should have had a hands free driving system...it should have...it should have..it should have.. Can't have it both ways.

Overall, though it feels like low quality lux or no lux even the steering wheel feels like junk

It’s more about what it does have feels super cheap. I don’t need more stuff or any bells and whistles I would like what it does have not to feel like cheap Chinese garbage that’s my biggest complaint it just feels poorly made

Very true. Rear vents and cup holder. Both low tech.

In MY22 there was a lot of value to be had, with the Base base still in the low $30's or speced similar to the Wildtrak (without the mid-package) for $42k. Now not so much....

Maybe it's not their fault. Every car released recently gets the same 28 cup holders, rear HVAC, the latest in connectivity, and no soul and a boring drive.
I embrace the simple Bronco, albeit electric lockers and a push button sway bar disco.

I was not saying I wanted any of those thing just that the build quality of what is there is cheap as shit plastic garbage i’ve driven Jeeps for 24 years so I’m used to the utilitarian simpleness, but it is of a superior quality compared to the bronco …. Especially at a $68,000 price tag. They need to step it up. I will Enjoy it for three years or four years if it doesn’t fall apart before then

I just bought a 23 Willys Gladiator for 25% off a couple months ago. I like the Jeep and it has its advantages in a few spots but I’d drive either of my Broncos over the Jeep every day of the week and twice on Sundays. The power from the Broncos (2.3 & 2.7) both destroy the Jeep and the Jeep does everything it can to wander off the road if I look away for a second. The size of the bronco cabin and the comfort of the seats is so much better than the Jeep. I know this thread was to complain about the Broncos “cheap” interior but I really can’t complain. Unless I’m sideways on a 25 degree trail, I’ll take the Bronco.

Agree on all points. I just wish they would’ve put a little bit more quality in the interior instead of making it so Chincy. The Jeep just feels better built.
