Found a sweet deal on some Wildtrak fox shocks that were pulled off a practically new Wildtrak. I was originally wanting a Wildtrak but decided I'd sacrifice the better suspension for the look of the Heritage. Now I'll have both!

So on Friday, 3/15 my scheduled date got moved from the week of 3/18 to 3/25, but then today, I see the status has been changed to "In Production", even though it stills show "scheduled for week of 3/25/2024"? Also, I don't see a link to the Window Sticker available lower on the page. So is my Heritage really "in production"?

All vehicles go into production status a week before the final blend. There is alot of knowledge in your build week thread section.

Great find, I've been on the lookout for this exact set-up. Great score!

Did a little something to make her more... mine.
The first step in her Stroppe Baja Bronco tribute conversion.
I'm REALLY digging it.

So I heard back from Granger, and its about the same as it was from Ford marketing...

"Neal,
I reached out to one of our contacts with Ford but was not able to get too much information.

Here is what I was able to find out, sounds like your vehicle and others are on a quality hold, what the hold is he did not specify.

The only other information that he did let me know is that Bronco HE is typically delayed and that the Detroit plant is having shipping delays. This is due to the railroad having a car shortage with the number of vehicles sitting on hold.

I wish I would have been able to get a little more information or an updated ETA but nothing on that side."

A quality hold? Now? After 8 months plus of just the truck just hanging out, enjoying some gravel lot? Another "we don't know what is happening answer" I'm not blaming Granger its not their fault, but man... I can get up to the minute details about where a $10 pizza is but I can't even get any real into on a 50k truck from Ford for almost 9 months??? In 2 weeks it will be a year since it was originally scheduled to be built....:mad::rolleyes:
My dealer (Stephen’s) had really no info more than Ford chat either. It’s in the order banks. Likely awaiting the necessary commodities to schedule the build.

At this point all the same parts are being used in various places, others are getting 2 doors (so it’s not the top), others are getting manuals and autos (so not the engine or transmission), others are getting signature lights, all paint colors, etc so it’d be damn nice to at least get some bit of a clue of what’s going on.

3 years ago I got a ‘78 CJ as a backup vehicle when my older daughter got her license and started driving my rubicon while I was waiting for the Bronco. Now she has a car, had my rubicon back… but… 3 years later, now my youngest got HER license. I’m back to the CJ. SMH, the wait and me are getting old!

Just as I expected, my production date just got moved out to 3/25/24, so only a week later, but I was looking forward to it being "in production" next week. On the other hand, it hopefully means that they'll have all of the issues worked out with the rear side glass hinges, if they don't already.
Don't count on it. I've been "in production" for a month.

I must admit, it's kind of interesting watching/reading some of the posts from people new to the forum. The whole concept of dirt mountain or "By September" is lost on most these days.
