Another week of no update since 1/18 "In Production"
Wondering if paying the premium price for an HE manual is worth it, if this is any indication of modern Ford.

Sorry for the frustration dump :cautious:
This is pretty unreal. Most of us are coming up on 2 months since its been built. I've been looking at other dealers for an everglades. I'm getting to the point that i don't want a new bronco anymore. Whats the point in ordering new vehicle when its going to be sitting in some lot for 2 plus months. I also found out mine has more problems then just missing parts..... I've always bought used and had better luck then this. Maybe this is telling me not buy new and stay in the used market. Silverlining to this is i have time to think about what route i wanna go! For sure i'm not taking delivery of mine though. :ROFLMAO:

Contacted Ford Chat a few minutes ago. As recent as earlier this week, my ETA was showing as "Pending Update", however, just a few minutes ago Ford Chat provided me with a posted ETA of 3/15-3/21. Tracker still shows as "In Production" so I'm not getting my hopes up, but at least there's some sign of movement, even though it's small...

I contacted Ford Chat last week and they were totally useless. I been stuck at "in production" since 2/5, and after 20 minutes they tell me to check status in the tracker, even after my first words to them was saying that the tracker hasn''t moved for 6 weeks. So then they tell me to call the dealer. I would be surprised if I get my car before June. Since I ordered in August of last year, I guess 10 months is pretty good.

Same - but I've been in production since 1/25.

But those are only ones that are produced between November and December. I would hope that none of us are still waiting that were produce then...
There's a short stack of trucks with early January "in production " dates and no updates...

Recalls are only for produced + shipped vehicles. It’s possible the issue was discovered in December, production continued into Jan / Feb anyway with a known bad door child safety lock but shipments stopped to limit the in-field recall work (and cost of the campaign), and those vehicles produced were put into quarantine. Then ford would address the quarantined units at the factory themselves when new parts arrive.

Not suggesting that’s definitely the case, but that is a valid scenario that could happen.
