Production Stuck Check-In - Mod top issue?

I just left my dealer and asked him to let me see my Vinview and it showed that my vehicle is still inside one of the plant buildings but it is produced I wonder if I was one of the one that got the quality check.

Well I finally went to "built" on Friday update, I have an ETA to the dealer of March 7-14

Seems that Rangers are going through the same thing as us. Might not be seeing our Broncos until the end of March, which aligns with what @OverlandingPastor “Inspection Campaign" post mentioned yesterday.

My obx has been in built status and was supposedly a deliver window from Feb 20/27 and it keeps getting pushed back..Now March 3/10. I'm only 6 hours away from the plant too.. What can cause shipping to take so long to even be figured out?

I've been stuck since 1/18. My original delivery date window was 1/23-1/29. I live a two and a half hour drive away from the plant and I don't even have a new date yet. Stopped by the dealership yesterday and they showed me the parking lot where my finished Bronco is sitting. They have a few sitting there. They've put a request in with their rep to get it shipped soon, but they said there isn't much else they can do right now.

That's so ridiculous. I'm annoyed as can be because I stupidly already got my pre approval and all done through my bank and its probably going to expire and just tank my credit for no reason... I understand build time issues but shipping should not be a issue especially when they put shipping charges on our purchase.

5 of the 19 we've been tracking have seen a change in status to built and shipped. 3 of the 5 are OBX, but different specs. Interestingly enough, none of what has cleared so far is down south. Not sure there is any "order to the madness".

“It looks like the reason it is being delayed is due to an upcoming recall. This is what our rep has referred us to that is most likely the issue. Once this recall has a solution they will fix it on your vehicle and all others at the plant FIRST than ship those units. The remaining on the lot and the current owners will have a fix after production models are shipped.”

Maybe everyone here has a hard top…all HE, Everglades, Raptors and 2-door models come standard with hard tops.

Yeah that happened with mine on Thurs the 22nd and I just found out its in Chicago, with an ETA of 3 weeks, but dealer is hopeful for maybe the 14th at the latest. He already put in a call to the trucking company to get it as soon as it lands
