Ha I got too excited after reading through all this and finally made my reservation. Then realized it is still September so that whole 2k off wouldn't apply. Cancelled immediately and will make another reservation once October rolls around.

Question - am I right in understanding that with this 2k below Granger deal there is no advantage to having the x-plan deal? ie no point in becoming a member of Mustang Club

It is $2k below invoice. It is $620 better than the previous xplan-$1300. I heard the detailed numbers from sometime who might know.

Placed my order in the first 24 hours but am really considering this, mainly because of a possible move. We may end up moving back to the mid west next year. With my situation I can't just pick a time to move, the timing is somewhat out of my control so the move could happen anytime from summer to end of year.

Pushing my order back may minimize the posibility of having to travel across country to pick it up.

Sticker and a hug? Pfft... If it is snowing when the late deliveries occur in Iowa, there better be a Bronco hoodie on the passenger seat. This Florida Boy doesn't own any winter jacket/sweaters/sweatshirts. I moved to a latitude where drivers aren't warned that bridges freeze. I definitely can't cope with snow falling.

You are correct, the Oct $2,000 offer does not require X-Plan.

You will submit your order in December BUT I am almost certain you can change anything BEFORE your order gets a VIN.

So to answer your question .. you should not be bound to 2021 colors and options.
