7/24/23 Build Week

I work at a Ford dealership and have access to a more advanced tracking system which also tells me nothing. We have 8 Bronco's at the plant, 5 of which are stuck in the production, modules up and running and they range in trim levels from Big Bend to Heritage Limited (the Heritage is the one I'm waiting on). I've compared equipment to see if they have anything in common that would explain the delay, the only thing that I've noticed is that 3 of them have the hoop steps but that doesn't explain the other 2.

Of course I ordered the hoop steps . Welp, looks like I’m getting mine in September at the earliest

It’s so frustrating watching the 7/31 build thread. Bunch of them are already picking up their order. Talk about fast turn around. Happy for them but makes me wonder what the hell is going on with our build week

You might have had priority since you were originally a 7/17 build week. Honestly I have no idea what’s going on. I think I’m just going to drive myself crazy trying to make sense of it all.

Only other thing I can think of is that they have us in pods based on our destination. Trying to get as many on a rail with a common route as possible.

@OscarHTX getting conflicting info. Was originally a 8/17-8/23 delivery estimate. Dealer is now saying it was updated to 8/28 but still showing in production.

Marketing originally said still in production with possible delay. She did more digging and said that she saw something about awaiting carrier or released to carrier but not shipped yet.

She also said she didn’t have any specifics and that there are tons of possible scenarios that could be holding it up but she thinks it’s most likely due to carrier delays/ just waiting for a rail that’s going down to Houston

I did read something not long ago about a recall on seatbelts. Anyone hear about this? Supposedly the supply wouldn’t be until September to get them replaced. Wondering how true and if this could hold some builds up waiting for a seatbelt.

But I think what has a lot of us scratching our heads is because many of our trackers aren’t updating to built and still showing in production when there’s a bunch of people that are a week after us that are already showing built. Saw one from the 7/31 thread that had the exact same Badlands build as me and has already updated to built.

I saw that somewhere as well but I would think a seatbelt recall would effect everyone’s build. They wouldn’t be sending out 7/31 and later builds if that were the case in my opinion. Unless they got all the good seatbelts and installed them on the 7/31 builds first

I think they're over doing the ETAs. I'd bet it gets to you sooner.
