Those clips hold on some of the plastics to the bumper. I saw them on the rear of mine when installing weathertech mud flaps.

Thanks man, you’ll never guess what I had them replace (they insisted). For some reason the bumper cover and ends have just been falling apart (clipwise). Dropping bits all over my garage and drive way. Got a November 21 badlands Sasquatch high build and has been fairly trouble free but this is weird.
