At least Granger will have plenty of experience with Heritage’s and the private offers.

What is the cut off for 2023 scheduling?

And with no order transfers to 2024, will the unscheduled 2023 orders be deleted?

I really hope they can figure this out prior to signing the paperwork, even with the promise of a check I'd rather have it taken care at point of sale vice pulling an extra $3k out of savings to cover it.

Regular '23 order banks close on August 10th at 1200 EST but they'll continue scheduling until the cutover to '24 which is rumored to be mid-November. Per last Ford notice the unscheduled '23 orders will be cancelled and new orders will have to be put in. Now how will Ford handle the HE's is truly unknown, they should have started in April with the builds and didn't start until June and that was only the four doors with the two doors a couple of weeks later. In my opinion only, Ford should work a deal to cover the PO's and PP's for these, we didn't get a chance like the WT's et al, to get $2500 for removing constraints with the notice that if we didn't we wouldn't get built which, to me again, is them stating that they'll build them all which we know now isn't going to happen.

I don't know what to tell anyone that will help and that will carry any weight other than to hold tight if you're scheduled and if you're not then wait for Ford to comment and see how they plan on handling the cluster they created!

Funny, those instructions came from my Sales and Inventory Manager.
Funny isn’t the first word that comes to my mind on this topic 😕.

Did you see my other note explaining that I called the COVP PHQ number several times, and they basically point me back to having the dealer work with their “Ford Rep”. I am just trying to find a solution and running out of time…

Of the 21 HE now showing in Granger's inventory (excluding the HLE):
  • 8 Azure Gray, 4 Cactus Gray, 9 Race Red
  • 16 2.3L, 5 2.7L
  • 15 Manual, 6 Auto
  • 11 2dr, 10 4dr
  • Mine is 1 of 4 with very similar specs (Azure Gray, 2.3L, Manual, 2dr), but each with a slightly different combination of options.
If you think about it, the HE's will probably be more "LIMITED" than the REB HEL's. Of the 3932 total HEL's that will be built I would imagine that more than half would be REB. At 60% that would be 2360 REB HEL's. I doubt we see that many HE's in one color unless Ford keeps the HE model available for many years.

The last production week for MY 23 is the week of November 6 to November 10.
they schedule about 8 weeks ahead so I am guessing the last scheduling for MY 23 will be in early September.
The last scheduling went through the week of September 25, so that leaves 6 weeks of scheduling open for MY23.
the unscheduled MY 23 orders will have to be re-entered by the dealers when the order banks open for MY 24, as they will not be automatically transferred.
The order banks for MY24 were slated to open on August 14, but they could be delayed.

Thank you for the detailed answer. Exactly what I needed.

The KBD flares are good option for the square fender without breaking the bank so maybe at the end of the day it'll be the better option.
Bestop makes a set of fender flares that hide the round part at the upper edge of the metal arch. Pricier than the KBD though.

I went ahead and broke out all the Granger HE's that were listed on their site, interesting that out of the 21 window stickers not a single one of us are exactly the same! All unicorns!!! I attached the spreadsheet so if someone wants to create a chart or pivot table have at it, not my forte!

Out of 21 window stickers:

Race Red = 9
AGM = 8
Cactus = 4
2 door = 11
4 door = 10
2.3 = 16
2.7 = 5
Manual = 15
Auto = 6
Aux Switches = 19
Sub delete = 4
Towing = 11
Door bags = 3
Engine block heater = 3
Keyless entry = 8
Signature lighting = 12
Roof rails = 3
Connected Nav = 2
Cargo area protector = 1
Upgraded carpet floor mats = 2
Hoop steps = 2
DIO Wheel locks = 4
DIO Storage roof bag = 5
DIO Tailgate table = 2
DIO Cargo area rug = 1

Prices ranged from $48692 for a manual 2 door up to $57370 for a pretty loaded 4 door.

Edit - Forgot to add:

Dual tops = 1

There were two!

DIO Tailgate table = 2

Edit ... well shoot ... I might have to go back and look now

Double Edit!!! - you're right, 0 slide out tailgate!

Wanted to make sure I didn't confuse the two when I was making the spreadsheet like I did with my answer!

Also forgot to add in that there was one 4 door with dual tops option, updated spreadsheet below.

What happens to any scheduled MY23 HE's that don't get built? Will they roll over or will another order have to be placed?

With the Mavericks that were actually scheduled and had VINs they didn't automatically roll-over; Ford cancelled them and the order holders had to work with dealers to resubmit. Those order holders got put into a pri 2 category to get to the front of the line.

Not sure if Ford will do the same this year with the Heritages or what but still roughly 3 months in MY '23 so I doubt they'll put anything out until they know that they can't build them.

yeah, I would think any scheduled HEs should get built as MY 23.
I hope they give unscheduled HEs a priority 2 code, my dealer has me at a 3 right now.
They'd have to prioritize it within the scope of the HE's, right now the pri codes 1 and 2 are reserved for Ford only.

Just got done talking with Ford chat, worthless waste of time to hear the same responses over and over that avoids the actual question.

Don't know why I expect anything different, it's 4th quarter and Ford is still a monkey with a football causing delay of the game in the final few minutes.
