In general, you couldn’t order one. They were only going to a dealer order which means they could allocate it to you but I don’t think you have an order in your name with covp. Seems odd though if you got the e-mail. The e-mail says HEL?

this was my understanding. I'd call Ford again and check and make sure its still a limited. I see all kinds of posts claiming they ordered specific configurations of limiteds as well, when Ford had originally said it would be totally random on what each dealer received. I even read someone on this thread saying they'd ordered a 4 door HEL in yellowstone. So maybe its Ford saying one thing, but allowing something totally different for certain dealers?

Yeah, the pricing just doesn't make sense for the 2 vs 4 door, but sense doesn't matter once you verify fitment. I haven't done a search yet, but the window sizing between mod and mic should be close enough to verify the bags are the correct size.

The prices don't match up I know. As for the size all I can find is 37"x14.75" for the 2 door non mod top.

@laudra or @Bronco Dad or anyone else that has a delivered HE, can you please measure your 4 door removable rear window so we can rule those out? trying to see which bag is which. I'll measure the inside of what I got when I get home and post it up.

Yes I'm replying to myself, the bag is almost 37" long and 14.5" wide so based on the above 2 door measurements the 2 door $189 bags are the correct ones. Not sure what you 4 door guys get for your $229, maybe they threw in some cupholders for you.

Sorry I can't help you I haven't taken delivery I got bumped to Oct. Also, I'm getting a 2 door so it probably will be different from a 4 door. Wish I could help you out.

Pizza tracker stills shows “in production.”

I called Ford Marketing. Their system revealed a secondary category “Produced.”

Estimated Delivery: 8/22 to 8/28 to Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego.

This happens to be the week we are driving the college kid to school in Michigan!

Congrats, so happy for you! I ordered mine from Kearny Mesa Ford as well and am anxious to know if they're gonna honor price protection and apply the private offer certificate to the purchase price. Please keep us all posted on how things go and be sure to post some pics of your new baby!
