Are you talking in terms of trying to get the hardtop to lie flat with the JTop installed? I have the same issue, so i just take the JTop off when putting the hardtop back on since it's a pretty quick process.

I am with you on the rear settings. Mine is currently the same as you , and I plan to go ahead and go all the way down. Hopefully this holiday weekend.
I set the rear to max low, then adjusted the front minimally to get a very tiny rake. it defini took some adjusting and driving around to settle the suspension to fully dial it in.
Yes, that spanner wrench is pefect for your needs. As far as minimal lift, set it to the lowest setting which still yields like 2.5-3.0" lift over stock.
