what's the deal with the black wheels?
They actually look very nice. However, the Sasquatch package on any other model gets you the beadlock capable wheels with the beauty ring. Ford could have easily given us a black wheel with a white beauty ring and gotten the same Heritage effect.

And for that amount of money they probably should have!

Ford chat says I'm built and should be at Granger the week of August 21st! Obviously i'm not expecting that with how things have been going the past 3 years but at least its built and I'm hopeful to have it before the snow flys!

Damn! 250 Pages..... you blink and you guys and gals keep on trucking! I just checked, my tracker updated to showing a production date, yay. I think my two top choice caused the major delay. Who knows. I guess seats are resolved ? I need to find time to read the past 25 pages!

The front door pizza tracker still says in production, but I have the modules and tear tag... so I contacted ford. My blend date was the 21st.

This is what I got from the chat. maybe I shouldn't get too excited???

Mine has been "produced" since 7/10 and is scheduled to be delivered between two days ago and Friday (no chance that happens). Its location is still Dearborn plant. I hope you have better luck than me!

1 is the Archetype Racing one and probably the one I'll use. The other 2 are the standard script but one is from badgeslide and the other from Ford Performance which is the one on the Limited, no difference between the two though.

I went ahead and ordered the Ford Performance version when I received a code from somewhere. It matches the bucking bronco on the back perfectly. I screen grabbed someone else's assembly line "baby picture" which happens before the stripe is added, and I am pretty sure this is how I am going to set mine up. No offense to others, but I just can't get on board with the stripe...

I am planning a couple of other exterior changes to personalize it, like replacing the blue oval on the back with a Cactus Green/Oxford white painted emblem, and painting the edge of the grille body color (like JRBinMalibuCanyon did on his Heritage tribute See link. Still debating changing to body color door handles as well.

It will be fun seeing all of the personal expressions on Heritage Editions as more get delivered over the next couple of months.

I really enjoy looking at older Bronco pics and I don't feel too bad about removing the stripe while still maintaining the legacy look. While there are tons of examples showing the original chrome trim, I dig the examples with the simple script only:

Would this affect us that already have been built?
No you're good, article talks about when the increase would show on sticker and about price protection, etc.

I've only had mine for a few days. My last manual was a Mustang GT that I sold the end of 2020. I was REALLY rusty, but it came back pretty quickly. Coming from an Explorer ST (400HP) it felt terribly underpowered at first. After getting used to it, it's no rocket, but it's fine, just needs some revs. I'm loving the manual!

1 thing I noticed is the downshift into 1st can be a bit difficult. A quick stop in neutral on the way makes it much smoother.
I thought I'd love a manual, then I test drove one and the combo with the 4cyl was just a dog compared to the v6 in my opinion. I understand the appeal though, manuals are fun as long as you're not stuck in traffic with a bad knee
