Did you order a 2023? My dealer is telling me that I cannot use my transition offer since my order was for a 2023 (placed on 3/27/23), and not for a previous model year that was transitioned to a 2023... The Ford customer service rep confirmed the same .

Yes and no. I originally started this process last year, but that dealer stopped carrying the Ford brand. I never placed an order officially In 2022, but I think there are notes on my order from the first dealer that the 2nd dealer can see stating that I was trying to.

If you did not have a confirmed order with Ford in 2022, then there is nothing to price protect, no Private Offer certificate available for model 2023 transition because you are not transitioning anything. Your pricing (as is all pricing) will be based on the ’23 invoice and then any price increases that occurred from the time of your confirmed order to the Invoice date (may be) refunded by working with your dealer. .

I could be wrong, but like all of us wondering, even though most of us are being told “no holds” I wonder if it is some kind of QC issue with this build week. It seems that majority of build weeks 6/12, 6/19 haven’t had issues with getting tracker updated and quickly getting shipped. I wouldn’t be half as bummed if Ford would communicate that…. I’d be more than happy to let them work out kinks before I get it!

Really? I saw more similar behavior going back in time. There's theories but ultimately who knows. Ford knows we'll buy them anyways no matter how much they jerk the customer around. My dad sold Fords for 30 years and said this is pretty much par for the course.

I just looked at my window sticker and seen I have the SDARS also... didn't realize what that was, now I'm bummed
EDIT: I just seen on another thread about this and there was a $-250 where it said SDARS but mine does not show a credit of $250?

If you have LUX (10 speaker), the sub was not deleted. The sub was removed (dummy sub was installed) and after a few months into the 23MY on all non B&O builds.

Tracked just updated to “built” for me overnight. No email yet. Scheduled for production 6/8, in production 6/9, Built 6/26. It was in production with secondary status produced since around 6/9 so like everyone else something was holding it up before it was finally released to carrier and officially built. Hopefully pick it up soon! Trucking convoy.

I was also updated to “built” this morning and awaiting shipment! My dealer is within an hour away so hoping it comes this week!! It would be a nice birthday present

Same here, overnight update to built. I get a rail car from MI to MA as that is the closest auto ramp to me.


*my dealer told me on Thursday the next email I would get is that it is on a railcar

Same. My WT blend date was 6/6, PCM and tear tag active, but still “in Production”. CS chat indicated no holds and had given me a delivery date of 6/27-7/3. Dealer as of Friday says it has not shipped.
