So now that we have Dirt Mountain 3.0 (maybe 4.0 as I’ve lost count) @Ford , what was the average wait time after blend date before those of you stuck there got shipped? Seemed it ranged between two and four months with some 6 months plus. Just trying to get a sense of what those of us in production purgatory are in for.

All i can say is just let it go and it will show up eventually. I was in a non production hold for two months for an undisclosed reason. I spent way to much time trying to figure out how to speed it up and eventually it just showed up while i was on vacation.

There is a small group of us at Stephens that were built in April but the tracker still shows “in production” - and a few from February. Many Broncos were built and shipped before and after our build week. Ford emailed the dealer about 2 weeks ago to say our Broncos wouldn’t be shipped until they meet “Ford standards”. No details beyond that.

Call center is useless and can’t even confirm that to be the case. The kicker is that private offers are set to expire on July 5 and no one is willing to step up and say they’ll be renewed.

I may end up at that conclusion but I’m not there yet.

This is the way.
Mine was built way back in mid-August 2021 and no status change until it just showed up on 11 November 2021. Just sit back and chill. Then, enjoy the ride when it finally arrives! Well worth the wait, at least it certainly was for me.

Mine sat at MAP from "Produced" on 2/28/23 to "Shipped" on 6/6/23 - no reason given, and no other info that Granger or Ford Customer Service (Online Chat) could see.
Time to put your Zen-mode in play and know that they found something that would NOT be acceptable to YOU. Better than sending out a faulty vehicle and hoping no one notices...

If I had knowledge they were fixing an issue- I would agree with your statement but given that's a gracious assumption @Ford hasn't earned IMHO, I'm not on that page yet. Simple solution though- just tell us what's going on.

Don't forget the shipping delays since you won't be just loaded up off the line like a typical build. Last year, mine was delayed nearly 3 months, took almost another month to get loaded up and shipped out. I know my case is nowhere near what other folks have had to endure.

As far as the reason for delays, one day it was "chips", another day, they had no idea why, and then it was magically "Built". Nobody at customer service, Ford, or the dealer can, or will, communicate the reason for the delay.

Good Luck to all.
My order was part of DM 2.0 from January to July 2022.
I never did take delivery of mine, I bought a dealer stock unit 2 weeks before mine showed up.

I’ll step up. They will be renewed. They do this every quarter. No reason to believe they will stop now.

4/17 blend, 4/19 modules active, still in production as well. Dealer has no info either other than it's still sitting at MAP. Trying to stay optimistic, but not my natural disposition. If I knew it was a QC issue it would help.

I totally understand where you both are at. It was me last year, Mine was built 4/18-4/20 (I'm sure there is a joke there somewhere). It sat...and sat until it got all the checks it needed, and finally shipped mid July. It was delivered last week of July while I was on vacation at the beach. My dealership was amazing though because it was unloaded around 8am and they dropped it off to me before 5pm that day - on vacation, with a full tank of gas even. I didn't even mind the extra miles.

Where are you hearing this? That’s been my suspicion because it seemed to coincide with several plug weld failures that were getting warrantied. According to some of those people there was a bad batch of axles from Dana. It would make sense but I haven’t seen anything addressing that in particular.

Build week was 4/10, blend 4/14, last official update: 4/14. But I’ve been told it was produced on 4/15. Modules are active. Now when I call I get told it’s delayed and pending an update.

Two builds in our build week have reported this from their calls with Bronco Marketing. I just spoke with the marketing line today and they did not give me that info but I did get the dreaded "produced- pending update."
