on my way home from June Lake this afternoon I stopped for a pee break and got back in the Bronco and saw the engine light came on as I was getting back on the road. I checked my app and did see anything on there saying that there was a problem. I didn’t feel any lagging or difference in the engine on the way home. Has anyone had this issue? I have a BD 2.7L

Probably a sensor failure or lost connection. If you want to know asap go to an autozone and ask them to read the code. It’s free at autozone, other parts retailers will scan it.

Hi there. This engine light concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

Don’t bother - all they do is direct you to a local dealership anyways. If you call your local dealership to setup an appointment, I’m guessing it’s something simple like a sensor and should be covered under warranty.

thanks, I already took it to the dealership but the technician that handles that stuff wasn’t in today 🤦🏻‍♂️. I was told he’ll be in tomorrow and hopefully be able to diagnose it tomorrow morning. 🤷🏻‍♂️ we will see.

Update:
so the dealership has had my Bronco since Monday. It was diagnosed and a bunch of codes came up(At least 15-20). They can’t pin point it, contaminated fuel, fuel filter, all the sensors, etc. they mentioned a bunch of things but I can’t remember them all. hopefully the can solve the issue soon.
