Love the wheel/tire combo on your rig. What do you used to install the rotopax cans and antenna?Just swapped out my Toyo RTs for the new Falken Wildpeak RT01s 315/70/17. They are so much better in ride quality even as a D rated tire vs the Toyos in C.
I may do a small review on them as I haven’t found much info about these tires yet

So far I have put about 1700 miles on them and they have been amazing. Balancing was perfect on the first try and no issues with getting mounted. One observation, they are a slightly larger 315/70 than the Toyo RT equivalent. On road they feel smoother than the Toyos with tire noise about the same, I also don't feel much of the additional 7 pounds in weight. Off road they have handled everything I've thrown at them very well. I had no issues during my trip in Death Valley ranging from minor rock crawling to hauling ass on desert roads. The one thing I did notice is they do throw rocks slightly more than the Toyos did. As a result, I do have a couple harsh chips on the lower part of my doors. Going forward I will probably apply PPF to the lower area of the doors. The only two areas I haven't been able to test are on rain and snowy surfaces, but I'm sure they'll do fine. All in all, I think these may be my new favorite tire even if they are on the heavier side for a D load 35.Please let us know how you like these. Very interested to hear your thoughts.
Good lord. 25lbs more than stock and pretty much 10lbs more than every comparable tire....heavier side for a D load 35.
What’s your offset?Wildtrak with fuel rebel 17x9 on 35 Goodyear.![]()

No idea why they weigh so much, they are 7lbs heavier than the Toyo RT in the same size but those are C load. Possibly the reason is the material used in the construction the sidewall.Good lord. 25lbs more than stock and pretty much 10lbs more than every comparable tire.
76.5lb for a 315/70/17 I'm not sure is a pill I could swallow.
Is there a reason they weigh so dam much?
