The moment I heard that Ford would offer the Bronco with a stick, I couldn't wait to order it. I missed driving a stick and absolutely LOVE my Bronco!
Yup. I only casually followed the 6G rumors and leaks early on until the manual was confirmed. I wouldn't be here today without it.

As far as buying one while being worried about resale due to lack of buyers, I wouldn't entertain that for a second. I'd be more cautious of the synchro problem with no apparent fix yet, but for most of us it's just a little noise and we have time for a solution.

Just got home from dinner, drove the Bronco since it was already out of the garage. I really enjoy rowing my own gears.

Shame only 18percent will get to enjoy shifting their own gears. I realize it’s neither the fastest or most efficient method of gear change but it’s definitely the most enjoyable.
I just taught my son and bought him a manual Honda for his first car. He was reluctant at first but but now wouldn't want anything else!

Agree it's not the fastest or most efficient with modern automatics but it keeps you in tune with the vehicle and what's going on around you. A manual is not an autonomous driving experience, shame the world is just willing to accept being chauffered around in an electric pillbox never knowing what they missed.

For the life of me I can not figure why Ford did not include the 2.7 manual in the design phase of Bronco
The 2.7 has an integrated bell housing. It won't mate with the manual. The better question is why we can't get a 5.0 since that would bolt right on.

It took 18 months to get a Bronco Manual in my driveway. The ONLY reason that I own a Bronco is that Ford decided to go this direction. Otherwise, it would have been another Wrangler.

The Bronco puts a smile on my face every day. I feel much more connected to the vehicle and the manual enhances the pleasure of driving.

It was the same for us. The manual was a make or break option for us in getting the Bronco. Just came back from super celebration east. It's great on the smiles per miles metric.

Manuals always retain value better. Any car. Especially now that manufacturers are ditching them for more fuel efficiency of autos. The manual is dying due to regulations, not desirability. There will always be people who want to learn and enjoy the driving experience of manual. It’s not a matter of age, gen Z love manuals (even more than boomers) from my experience.

If they would of , I think take numbers would of been different

And on the plus side 4 banger manuals would of been bulletproof
Usually this happens because the off the shelf manual wasn't designed to handle the torque of the larger engine, also smaller engine usually benefit more from manual transmissions.

I wish this was true only 33% of Americans claim they enjoy driving and only 7% of the general public states they would consider a manual. The lack of availability, people who can teach those to drive manuals, and lack of consideration is why manuals are dying. I myself love manuals and own 3 vehicles that are less than 7 years old that are all manuals. Rare that is, today.

Since it is usually illegal to drive 100mph, driving gets boring. Shifting gears makes it fun to drive, even if you aren't going super fast. 😘😘

Eyes on the road, left hand on the wheel, right hand on the pole. Your one with the car, a car to be one with. Fun, focused, safer I know wherever you go. Feel sorry for all the automatons out there fiddling with their phones, missing the riding of a Bronco. Tommy Bronc

Yep. It would be interesting to look at current accident statistics to see if manuals have less accidents on average. 🤷‍♀️

One reason the Manual is dying is heavy traffic, stop and go with a manual for hours is no fun at all.
