Does anyone have information on whether the price protection and the $2500 are allowed to be used on the same vehicle? Ford marketing says they don't know and we have to ask the dealerships because it's "new".

so I called marketing today and the price protection and 2500 rebate were both there but they were under the same certificate number. My price protection was $3425.

The one thing I am still not sure on is how we get the protection for the most recent hike. My window sticker price is $1650 higher than the msrp listed on the sheet I signed with John in January.

I have the same thing, but they told me that usually you can only use one of these private certificates per sale. That is my concern.

The person I talked to made no mention of that. I even asked her to read me back the total amount of the single certificate number and she added it up and told me. I do not think they would do this to us, but who knows after waiting nearly 3 years.
I also saw on the main price protection thread that the most recent hikes are called retail price protection. In other words, when you order any ford vehicle, if the price changes after you place your order, the mid year adjustment is subtracted from your final price by the dealer. When this happens is not clear. Could be another mail the check situation.

This depends on the dealer's preference for handling it.

For the price protection - it doesn't show up on a certificate or anything. It happens AFTER the sale of the vehicle. Basically, 30-45 days (Maybe longer) after the sale of the vehicle - SAC will receive a credit on their books for the amount of price protection.

SAC has a choice of either trusting Ford to do this and give us the PP amount at the time of purchase, OR they will wait until they are credited and then send us a check later for the amount. (Who could blame them for waiting...Trusting Ford?... I mean...)

From past posts of those who bought their Bronco from SAC (Before the Private Offer was a thing in 2021-2022) - it looks like they waited for SAC to receive the credit, and then a check would be sent out.

When the Private Offer became a thing (2023) - it's an actual certificate with an amount. So there isn't a waiting game to see what amount Ford would credit the dealer. Unfortunately, there's been multiple price increases this year so far (as we know), so they aren't a part of the Private Offer and thus revert to the old "wait and see" method.

Hope this makes sense - I could be wrong on this, but I've read through enough of the threads on here in the past 3 years that I think my head is on SOMEWHAT straight... I am a Floridian after all.

So my blend date listed on the window sticker was 4/5, modules became active 4/6, and i received my built email 4/7. Shipping to Stephens estimated to be between today (wtf?) and the 13th.

My estimated delivery window has now been bumped to April 13th - 19th.

I found it on here 1-800# to marketing. They gave me my confirmation # or whatever it’s called that dealer types in. Verified everything for me, was a nice lady.

Got bounced around 4x on that number but finally got our number and cert number from them

Stephen's gets billed on the window sticker. This makes sense, as the Bronco may not be sold to the person who reserved it (and then wouldn't qualify for the same price protection).

Any price increase in the MY2023 will be billed to Stephens. Once Ford confirms they sold the Bronco to a user with price protection, then it is refunded. You will get a check 30-90 days after the sale.

You still get the window sticker at $1250 under invoice.

I'm not sure how the other price protection works if you took the offer to change options.

I don't believe they do either ceramic coating or PPF.

I'm not sure how useful either would be to anyone out of state. They normally need to keep your vehicle for a few days for paint correction, and then time for the ceramic coating to cure.

They are both about a 30+ minute drive from Stephens. 304 Detailer is a little closer.

Thanks, I was thinking it would be easier to just pick it up and have it already completed, plus I have some Ford bucks I can use. (whatever they call their Schrute Bucks/Stanley Nickle fake currency)
