Get a tool kit:

knife-less tape.

Just ran the double stripe with the knife-less tape, put the vinyl on, then pulled the tape and it cut the stripe through the vinyl, easy peasy

I took the front grill off and use dark tinted vinyl and tinted out those front markers.
