I just got off the phone with Ford and was told the same thing......Both Price Protection & Order Modification are combined on the one Certificate............BUT the dealer can only see the $2500 Modification Value??
Working with my Dealer to try and sort this out.

Did you or anyone else ever get resolution on this? I just verified with Ford Marketing that both of my certificates are showing for my $2,395 MY price protection and the $2,500 for my order modification. I was however also told the same thing that they have the same certificate number and could not be combined. I’d be pretty irate if this was true.

I do apologize if this has been answered already , but I ordered a Black diamond 4-door on 2/3/2022 (covp) .what will be my total $ off my MSRP ?which I just got my window sticker today (with the new D&D $1795.00) so I get two— The Price protection and a private offer ? Ohhh... that is very much NOT a Black Diamond as you had mentioned in your first post, that is a Badlands.

Okay so that changes things. Did you order a hard top, Sasquatch package, Lux package, or the modular front bumper?? If so, which options on that list did you order?

Hi! You are correct ! I changed my Black Diamond with Hard-top , Sas , mid package to a Non-Sas Badlands , soft and high package to get scheduled. I originally though I would get the $2,500 offer for taking off the hard-top and Sas and changing my trim to a badlands. But it got me scheduled to change to a soft top badlands non Sas , high package. I still get my PP and PO right ?

Okay yeah, so... you are eligible for Column B under your Black Diamond. That is your Model Year Transition Private Offer. And then you are eligible for Columns C and D under Badlands, and that's your Retail Price Protection.

• BD, Column B = $1,995
• BL, Column C = $1,500
• BL, Column D = $0

So...

$54,615 - ($1,995 + $1,500 + $0) = $51,120

$51,120 should be your new price—assuming your dealer is following MSRP.

I know the dealership said my PP is -$3425

Depends on how to you look at it.

From our perspective as a customer it’s all a form of price protection. From Ford’s perspective it’s very different, but the ultimate goal is the same—to protect the price.

If you use the Ford lingo… Columns A/B are Private Offers. Columns C/D are Price Protection.

So I called the marketing hot line and they said I don’t have any certificates for the private offer …. I have a window sticker but not built yet… do I need to wait till it’s built for the certificates to populate in smart Vincent ? Ordered 2/3/22 (original COVP) .
