Nope. I wanted up upgrade to a Black Diamond, but I would have been stuck with MGV seats. Not something I wanted to up up with in Phoenix.

#1 non-negotiable item was Manual Transmission
#2 was cloth seats.
I as well as other cloth seat owners would have been excited to trade our cloth for your mgv....

Are BaseSquatches even bargains at 2023 prices now? I think I spec a Base 2Dr 2.7L 10A Sas and it was $45K. Yikes.

My basesquatch I bought in Jan '23 was a base 4 door v6 with hard top. Nothing else. it was close to 48 after delivery and all that. I got tons of incentives and I ended up paying 42ish.

You sure it went up that much in a year?

That's exactly what I wanted, but I have no patience. I wanted a Bronco ASAP! I bought a BD Manual with Adv. 4x4. I now got Badlands Running Gear in it, 4.7 gearing and lockers front and rear...
I’m on the exact same boat and want to do all those mods specially the front locker. Did you do it yourself or had the dealer install it?

I was just looking at those old 2021 prices this afternoon. A 2021 Badlands is on par with a 2023 BasSquatch.
Below is my spreadsheet thoughts from 2021 between the "3-B's":

Absolutely, when you look at a BB 2DR 2.7 10A and only a rear locker is over $44k. Heck if you can't afford the extra $1000 to get the better axle, better gearing, front locker, and advanced 4wd....one could sell their Sas take-off wheels for $1800 and buy a set of BB's for $400.

I did it myself.
Did you follow any YouTube videos you could recommend? And you had the advanced 4x4 so you didn’t need to reprogram the FAD right?

Love the curb appeal of the wildtrak which is why my base looks the way it does but I couldn’t justify the fluff inside for what they're fetching.

Nope, a Basquatch was my original intention. But after the Drive a Bronco event and the Off Rodeo, I realized it was way more than I needed or would use.
My BB with lockers is all I’ll need.
Lockers are key for sure.

With the rear locker in my Xterra doing everything I wanted, I was initially convinced I just needed a rear locker and would figure out how to add one to the base aftermarket.

During off-roadeo my eyes were opened to the added type of terrain a front locker enabled and how much easier it made the stuff I typically do.

With my wife being a nervous passenger when we off-road, making things feel easy and drama free is a big deal, so from Base to Basesquatch I went.
