We want all of our current SAE owners to experience the latest in our street legal light technology and will upgrade your previous generation SAE lights for you. Do we just fill out the form and send after March 31 or are you requesting they’re sent sooner and they’ll start to be replaced after that date? That’s a bit unclear.

I really like your quality! Don't laugh but my Bronco has not come yet. I have second day reservation and still waiting. By chance do you sell a LED light I could install on my Snowblower? AC powered as there is not a DC rectifier

Bravo for the free upgrade program, a very strong customer focused move. I’ve stayed away from BD products for a number of vehicles (Ram 2500, Raptor, Bronco) because of the SAE fog light issue. This will make me give BD another look.

The original design didn’t confine the beam enough to meet the SAE J583 fog light standard when they were first released, resulting in a fix of adding metal shutters around the LED’s to further confine the beam that also reduced the overall output. If you are happy with them currently you should like them even more fixed. SAE fogs are the most important lights on my rigs and I wasn’t satisfied with the old design. I commend BD for the redesign and the free upgrade program.

Wow! Good to know. I am new to the whole LEDs on vehicles thing. Though, I like them subtle and effective. I can't wait to get mine upgraded. They're priceless as is living in the woods and navigating the windy roads near me.

Please send them in after march 31. That is when we will start accepting lights.

@Baja Designs, I'm interested in the following Squadron SAE Fog Pocket Light Kit to replace the factory fogs in my capable bumper, but it states this kit is for the OE Plastic Bumper. Will this also work in the capable bumper? Any required modifications to make it work?
Does this kit include the new Squadron SAE lights? Would it be better to just purchase the lights w/o the kit and fabricate a way to mount them? Recommendation? Thanks.

That kit will not go ahead and work with the capable bumper. I found some brackets made by KR off road that may work with our lights. I would recommend reaching out to them to see if it will work.
