My price protection rebate was actually considerable higher than I expected.
I called marketing phone number, got cert number, dealer applied it…

They were shocked how much I got… it appears I got the Option B Wildtrack amount, I was expecting the Everglades amount being $1,000 less

Reservation for a Wildtrack on 6/21
Changed to Everglades on Nov 11 2022
Took Delivery Today
Since you had the WT on order as of the initial 9/9/22 decision point on the chart (post #1) that's the model that's used for the calculation; the subsequent November change doesn't matter. Congrats on both the new truck and the $$!

So looks like the offer HAS to be linked to your original order, just got this from them.

offer2.jpeg
So this dealer won't budge seeing they're at risk of a charge back if they apply my certificate. They did contact Ford and apparently were told after the sale Ford could verify it was for a new 2023 model and apply the certificate and send a check direct to me the customer.

My question is has anyone successfully done this?? Do they submit a vin to the cert in smart Vincent?

Any advice would be appreciated. It's not going to be a deal breaker but rather not leave $$ on the table.

Ordered base Bronco 1/20/22; MSRP $29,300. Build date 3/20/23 MSRP $34095 now, Have Ford private offer of $2845. The retail price protection of $1950 from original sales contract difference comes from the Ford dealership? Does my dealership get that check from FMC directly and then passes it along to me? Also, destination & delivery has gone from $1495 (original sales contract) to $1795 now. I have read on forums that dealer should honor original D & D price. Thanks for any replies.

The Private offer covers increases from when you originally ordered till Sept '22 based on what was on order at that time. The retail Price Protection covers any increase from the October reorder till you receive the Bronco in '23. The February 10th increase is covered by that program. The vehicle increase is $1300 for a 4 door and DD went up $200 so $1500 total.

When you get the PP depends on the dealer. Best is at the sale so you save on the taxes. But a lot send a check after when they get reimbursed.

Anyone have issues getting price protection if they moved during the process -> Order placed to delivery? We moved for my husband’s job and the certificate shows up with my old home address, even though Ford and the dealer have updated information as of October 2021 when order was updated to 2022MY (finally kicked to 2023MY).
The certificate is in my name, just concerned about what I need to make sure happens, if anything. Dealer didn’t seem to think it was a big issue as long as I have the certificate number. My blend date was yesterday, so trying to make sure I have all of my ducks in a row when my baby arrives and I go get it. Pleasant experience talking to Ford Customer Service, she just wasn’t super helpful with knowing if the address has to be updated. My phone number, no email address were tied to the certificate and those have not changed at all over the past 2 years since placing OG order.

Thanks for any assistance! ✌

Am I understanding that I could get both column A and C?
or is it one or the other?

I ordered with Granger October 2020.
If I never changed anything would I get both A and c?
It’s a badlands order.

Alright... 2023MY time!

If any of this is wrong please let me know ASAP. I don't want to add to the confusion.

I want to stress that the information in this post is
only valid for those taking delivery on a 2023MY Bronco, and is NOT valid for 2022MY Broncos nor will it be valid for a 2024MY Bronco.

ARE YOU TAKING DELIVERY OF A 2022MY?
You're in the wrong place. Check out the 2022MY Price Protection Thread.

IMPORTANT FEBRUARY 10TH, 2023 UPDATES

On February 10th, 2023, Ford announced a round of mid-year price increases for the 2023MY Bronco (thread). This dramatically increased the complexity of price protection for 2023MY units, especially combined with the $2500 order transition offer that was introduced in mid-January 2023.

Due to the mid-year price increases, there is now two forms of price protection:
  • Model Year Transition Private Offer - This price protection is delivered via private offer certificates in Smart VINCENT under Pgm #38644.
    • Your price protection amount is determined by what you had on order as as of September 9th, 2022.
    • You and/or your dealer may decide to apply this certificate to the final selling of the Bronco, or may wait to receive a check from Ford.
  • Retail Price Protection - This protection is available to anyone who had an 2023MY order placed prior to February 10th, 2023.
    • The amount is based on what you had on order as of February 10th, 2023.
    • If you change (or already changed) your order after this date, you may lose this protection if your body code changes. More information on that below.
    • Your dealer should take this protection off the final selling price of the vehicle. However, some dealers have opted to wait until they are reimbursed by Ford before providing this price protection. Either way, you will NOT receive a check from Ford for Retail Price Protection, it comes from your dealer.

BODY CODE BREAKDOWN

Body code is is a 3-character code used in Ford's ordering system. If you modify your order and change your body code, you will likely lose your Retail Price Protection. (You will not, however, lose your Model Year Transition Private Offer.)

On most Ford vehicles, the body code is roughly equivalent to trim level. On the Bronco, it is more complicated, as there are multiple possible body codes for each trim level. In general, you may trigger a body code change by changing any of the following:
  • Trim level
  • Number of doors
  • 4x4 transfer case
  • Equipment package
The Bronco's Body Codes are listed below:
  • E5A - 2-door, part-time selectable 4x4 (multiple trims)
  • E5B - 4-door, part-time selectable 4x4 (multiple trims)
  • E5C - 2-door, advanced 4x4 (multiple trims)
  • E5D - 4-door, advanced 4x4 (multiple trims)
  • E5E - 4-door First Edition
  • E5F - 2-door First Edition
  • E5J - 4-door Raptor
  • E4C - 2-door Heritage
  • E4D - 4-door Heritage
  • E4E - 2-door Heritage Limited
  • E4G - 4-door Heritage Limited
Your current body code can be found at the top of your order summary sheet:

View attachment 466188

Again, if your body code changes, you will likely lose retail price protection.

Below are some examples of body code changes, which likely will cause you to lose Retail Price Protection. This is NOT a complete exhaustive list.
  • Removing the Sasquatch package from Base or Big Bend
  • Switching Wildtrak to Big Bend
  • Switching from Part-Time Selectable 4x4 to the Advanced 4x4 transfer case on Outer Banks
  • Switching from Big Bend to Heritage
  • Switching from 2-door to 4-door
And below are some examples of changes that do not change your body code. Again, this is not a complete list.
  • Switching from Wildtrak to Badlands
  • Removing the Sasquatch package from your Black Diamond order, but retaining the Advanced 4x4 option
  • Removing the Sasquatch package from your Badlands
  • Changing from the 2.3L engine to the 2.7L engine

Yes—assuming Granger passes all of it onto you... which I assume they do based on their reputation on this forum, but I don't have any personal experience with them.

Yes but don't forget that's only because the sticker has had a few big bumps since you ordered with the latest being Feb 10th.
I get that. But they have definitely had increased costs and they didn’t have to do this.

Help needed. Tuesday I found a Badlands inventory vehicle NEW and placed a deposit on the vehicle with dealer. Immediately after, I called my original dealer to cancel my current order (to get said cancelation incentive).
Come today I get the scheduled for production email (dealer must have never canceled).
To make matters worse in smart Vincent there are two addresses listed. One is correct the other is not. Dealer said my incentives are listed under the wrong address. Contacted ford and they have a ticket going so fingers crossed.

Question, how can I get proof of cancelation if original dealer did not in fact cancel. @Ford Motor Company and @BroncoNation for help. Being bullied here. Also, if @FordVideoGuy has any advice that would be greatly appreciated.

Just got off the phone with Ford customer service and received a private offer certificate number.
Model year transition: $3,220
Order modification. $2,500
Both offers were on the same certificate number and it was an either/or meaning they could not both be used. Just wondering if anyone else ran into the same situation?

I was told by the customer service rep that the cert number was the same but both would apply, my dealer said the same I have little trust for either. I have seen in this thread and several others as well as Bronco nation that both are stackable. Now doubts are creeping in- can anyone that has taken delivery and received both the transition and modification offers weigh in?
