For those of you that have sold SAS Wheel/OE GY take-offs, what did you find was the best way to ship them? I can list them on local CL, FB MP, and/or eBay (where I see many). But let's say you are able to sell them on something like eBay, how are you shipping them to the buyer?

What companies have you used?
What packaging (clearly they are mounted still)?

Or would you simply discourage any efforts at shipping?

Thanks!

Pallet. I took a bumper to Fed Ex and they loaded it on a pallet. Also got my BAMF bumper the same way. Freight shipped on a pallet is the way to go.

I did a pallet with Yellow Freight. I Stacked them (tires on wheels) to keep the pallet footprint smaller.

Shipping is crazy expensive anywhere you go.

Ok- cool. That’s how I did my soft top. Just thought there might be a better way.
And I assume people are just passing that cost into the buyer or packing it into the purchase price.

That's why with big, heavy, bulky stuff - it's almost always better off selling locally on FB Marketplace. I've shipped a BMW bumper, Tahoe Wheels & Tires, etc....but dang what a pain in the ass, and it's expensive. Much better experience selling locally for those types of items.
