If only it was that easy haha. I did the tune on my 2.3 and it’s not just about smashing the gas to be honest. Throttle seems to respond better, shift smoother, and gas mileage went up!

That gets delivered by a piece of hardware that you need.
Granted I think having to buy the Procal box with the tune is silly, but it's not the software that is not in stock... it's the Procal hardware

What I dont get why is ford hardcoding the tune to your vehicle. Only reason is so it cant be flashed on another vehicle. There just making it harder to sell and put on customer vehicles. Issue a generic tune (vehicle calibration) and give it to the dealer to flash using there regular tool. I've flashed more vehicle modules in my career then I can count. Its not that complicated. With all the part and chip shortages, there losing out on money by making things to complicated.
