03/13/23 Moab thread - (hotel is cheap!)

I'm booked for 03/13/23 in Moab and ran across a deal at the on-site hotel, Red Cliffs Lodge. The Off-Roadeo rate is $309/night but they currently have a 2 queen bed special (not Off-Roadeo related) at $99/night!

I'm staying 4 nights but even a single night rate is the same.

There is a $50/night resort fee, but you're stuck with that at any rate.

Anyway, thought I'd pass this along and check in here if you've booked the same day!

That’s a great deal! We’re going in April and even with the discount it’s $309/night. Unfortunately we can only travel when school is on a break, kids are gone but my wife is a teacher.

That's a heck of a deal. I stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in town and drove over because I think it was more like $500+/night back in September. The Red Cliffs resort is beautiful.

I'd love to invite a buddy to join in the trip, he's never been to Moab, but he doesn't have a Bronco, he'd be driving a Tacoma. Is it cool to have him join if he pays the $165?

He's an experienced wheeler, way better than me and his rig is setup.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up on this. I just booked March 5th-9th for the $99 rate. My wife and I did the off-roadeo there back in October and it's a really beautiful property. We jumped at the chance to stay there for only $99!

Now that this has come and gone, was there any real reason to take the discount rate over the 'Bronco' rate? The only thing I saw that looked different was that the cheap rate didn't have an included breakfast.

They gave me the free breakfast, whether or not they should have, hard to say...Great place and it was a lot of fun!
