12/19/2022 build week group

… I saw my Bronco was delivered to the rail yard last week. I gave it a couple days, then called my salesperson and told him I was going out of town this week and I’d like to pick it up before I left if possible.

Thanks for the insight. I contacted my salesman today and he thought almost 2 weeks in the railyard was odd so he will have the manager contact them tomorrow. Who knows? I can see where the railyard wait becomes aggravating. We aren’t waiting on a Aston Martin or Ferrari.

And of course, a search about railyard delays on here yields the horror stories. I start thinking they dropped the Bronco from the top of the rail car or crushed it with a transport truck.

According to our 12/19 build sheet the following have pending deliveries:

Does anyone know if @Combustion_King received their Bronco? Their delivery date has past but nothing on the actual pickup.

Pretty shitty. I saw one Bronco marked with eta of 2/10 at least so maybe they’re moving along soon.

Well, it looks as though mine is "In Route" to dealer. Cool thing is there's a link to click and there are 8 pics of the Bronco. Now, just one more wait until the dealership gets it processed!

Tracker now shows I'm in final prep. It's weird because I've waited over a year for this one, but I'm not going to get it because my original reservation (11/2020) is scheduled to be built in three weeks.

Where did you see the images? Ford website or United Road?

No, pizza tracker isn't updated. United Road has me listed as In Route and I can see the pics they take before loading it onto the truck. It says delivery at dealership on the 10th though so that sucks. Already spoke to my salesman to tell him it's on it's way. He said he hasn't seen anything yet. They probably hate guys like us that keep track of the whole process and know exactly when to expect it.

Just saw this! Maybe we're on the same truck! What part of the website are you able to see that from? I've been logging in to the OVISS page and it has the track option but doesn't bring up what you're seeing, just a map basically.

For sure! I cringe every time I reach out to the dealer now but after working in a retail environment for over a decade I have learned that closed mouths don't get fed so it is what it is.

I may have to start working up the line if I don’t get responses. My sales guy is responsive when I initiate contact but I’m not getting definitive answers. I definitely don’t want to be adversarial but my delivery and pick up windows keep getting harder to arrange.

Yesiree! Hopefully they'll have it ready for me some time tomorrow. This is my wife's Bronco and her birthday is Sunday. We've been joking around for almost a year that she'd be lucky to have it by her bday.

Then, I have to take it to the PPF shop on the 20th, and they will have it for a whole week Should be nice though, getting the matte ppf, tint and windshield pf.

You're only a few hours behind mine! Sharp Wildtrak you've got there. I liked your color, but we're getting rid of her silver car that we've had for 10 years so she was a no go for the same color

I'm a creature of habit and have had the same color vehicles for the past 17 years. I originally started out with Cactus Gray which not for me once I finally saw it in person. Anywho, fingers crossed for taking delivery within the next 24 hours!

I'll definitely put some pics up in this thread once I get it back at the end of the month. I liked the cactus too at first, but seeing it in person didn't like it as much as I did in the pics.
