GM Considering Electric Bronco Rival, Wagon, And Small Hummer Pickup

"Even more excitingly, there was also a small boxy SUV described as a likely competitor to the Bronco and Defender that is electric, meaning it would likely find competition in the form of the upcoming International Scout."

While GM didn't provide nor allow journalists to take any pictures [of the clay models], we took the liberty of creating renderings.

It'll be interesting to see if this becomes a reality.

Blazer is a good name......since they were definitely high as kites when developing ad designing that piece of junk.

Going on how cool concepts tend to turn out in reality, it'll just end up being an electric version of the new Blazer anyway.
They've already got an electric Blazer coming out. All they need to do is put a lift and bigger tires on it. This rendering looks a lot like it.

I still don't understand the appeal or usefulness of an electric off-roader though. What are you going to do, drive up a trail and then sit there for 6 weeks while it charges from a solar panel?

The only question will be how many line and creases can GM fit onto the bodywork.
Yep, not digging this new gimmicky multi edge thing cars have going on today. It hides bad underlying design. Clean, bold, well proportioned stands the test of time, not gimmicks.

6 weeks? My 200 watt Bluetti panel might produce 1 kwh per day under ideal conditions. A full EV charge is around 120 kwh. So….17 weeks???

So these electric off-roaders must be disposable. 🤷🏻‍♂️
