West Coast delivery delays

Mine arrived at the Mira Loma CA rail yard about a week ago and has been waiting for transport to go less than 10 miles from the rail yard to my dealer.

No idea if the transport company is waiting for a full load or what the hold up is.

Hopefully it’ll be delivered soon enough and not waiting weeks to go such a short distance. Would be quicker to pop it in neutral and push it to my dealer than it’s been waiting for a transport truck

Did yours ever get delivered? Mine has been “released” in Mira Loma since last Thursday 01/19 and still not at the dealership

It seems super random depending on where they’re going, some wait a couple of days and some longer. My dealership does not seem to know when it’s going to show up, at first they seemed optimistic saying “hopefully soon!” and now they are saying “7-10 days, sometimes 2 weeks”.

Your dealer should be able to call United Road trucking and ask them when it scheduled to be delivered. Mine told me mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow at 4 PM.

They do not seem to know, I have no idea why. Also I don’t think it is transported by United.

My dealer could not give me an exact date but he contacted the trucking company and marked it as "hot". Basically he explained to me that he told the shipper that the vehicle has already been purchased and its needed ASAP. Im guessing ill get it sometime next week...thats just the way this whole process has worked out. Take an eta, double it and add three days lol

Mine is on the train now. Called my dealer and he gave me the railcar number and told me it was on BNSF. Can anyone advise how to track BNSF? The “Trackers” sticky up top doesn’t list them as an option.

I tracked mine through the CSX phone number, which is the line it originally started on from Michigan.

My dealer said they can no longer tag vehicles as hot anymore because they're all special orders these days. I don't buy it. Zero urgency at all.

Yeah, I tried that. The system says the car has been “released by customer” December 8 in [inaudible] Indiana (“Crenchton”???). But this can’t be right, my Bronco didn’t even ship until Jan 19th.

Is it possible the car is not loaded yet and I’m hearing status of the previous use of that same car #?

Hmm not sure, maybe? The phone automated system is tricky. I stopped trying to say the letters and started punching the numbers in. Maybe double check the rail car number with your dealer.

I too get nonsensical information when I try to track the CSX rail car. It has never worked for me, and I have had rail car info for at least 2 weeks and have checked to ensure I have the correct number 3 times. The only updates I've been able to get have been screenshots of VINVIEW from my dealer. Neither Ford Chat nor Ford Marketing have any information after the rail car switched lines from CSX to BNSF at Blue Island, Ill, but according to my dealer my Bronco was in North Dakota as of Tuesday of this week.

Arrived in Barstow yesterday evening, if you have had your rail car go through there, how long of a stop has it been?
