So I spoke to my dealer and apparently there is only 3 broncos at this dealership left unscheduled..(Medium sized dealer)

all 3 are wildtraks...

He confirmed that in his allocation basket is 17 total allocations available .
Out of those 17 he has allocation for 3 wildtraks...

does this mean I can roll the dice and not change trims and ill get built?

Or do these constraints apply to those 3 wildtrak allocations ?

I am a bit confused on how that would work.

3 broncos left to schedule, all 3 wildtraks....hmmmm.

I'm not a Ford Employee and this is JMO.

If this were me, I'd want to know where the vehicle is in the list priority-wise and which ones have Lux, MIC, Mod, or Tow. You also have to take into account 2-door vs 4-door.

This is a risk assessment you have to do yourself and decide how risk averse you are to your Bronco not being built.

If I were #1 in the list I may roll the dice as-is.

If I were #3, I'd drop to High, soft top, and consider removing Mod/Tow from the build if I had it.

Remember that just because he has 3 WT allocations, it does not mean that the electronics for Lux won't get your build stuck, they have enough MIC tops or that the capacity exists for more 2-doors, if yours is 2-door.

So 17 allocations for the month or year?

If all 3 are WTs then something has been holding them back so yes, above advice is what you need to do, find out what the commonality is and drop that from your order. But, who knows right?

thank you,

I am not sure if it is the month or the year.
what I want to understand is does the allocation mean it will be built?

It means that a Wildtrak *can* be built depending on it's options and constraints. A four door WT with no options would be built.

It's a roll of the dice.

The allocations just say that Ford will built up to 17 Broncos for that dealer. But it says nothing about WHICH Broncos can be built. The dealer has the allocation, but if Ford doesn't have the components for those particular builds, then the having the allocation doesn't matter.

Allocation typically means that the dealer is entitled to receive that many Broncos, but not necessarily your Bronco. They may get to order a dealer stock unit, or maybe somebody else will come in and order a lesser model and get theirs instead. It is possible the dealer will not get a full allocation at all if they don't have enough buildable orders.

Well there is one less wildtrak order out there because I changed my order today. Hope you get your Bronco! I need a new car sooner vs later so I made the changes. who knows if it will help or not. I also have PP and don't want to lose it. Almost 4k plus the 2500 is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

Allocation is the number Ford is giving your dealer for Broncos. Where you fall in line at your dealer within that allocation is next and then you have to factor if your order is free of constraints that keep it from getting built. If all three don't match up then it doesn't get scheduled that go around and they'll go to the next order.

yes that is what I thought but all 3 orders are for wildtraks

so the question I had was when they schedule for this dealer, does that mean when all they have to chose from (wildtraks) they will schedule it or totally skip the dealer for that round?

All three are WTs but do all there have lux or mic top? Any 2 doors? What other possible constraints???

Ford has the master formula they're looking at when they run thru the lists, if they can't build yours with everything it has on it assuming dealer has allocation and it's your spot in line then it's the constraints.

This is why Ford released this latest program, to try and get people to pull those combinations out of the formula and in turn get you built and pay you a little for the inconvenience.
