The TC video indicates that there are some 78K unfulfilled reservations. Folks, we aren't getting the truck we want.

FORD never had any intention on filling these orders. They caved to high volume dealers and dealer stock. Reservations were for hype. And it worked. But we were merely a tool for them.

So it sounds like they won't open the order banks for new orders this year. Although, there's no reason not to open up the order banks since they are dropping PP for MY 2024. I'm surprised we haven't gotten any more clarity since the meeting this morning.

The video guy says "if you have a Bronco on order, and any of those three options (Sas/Lux/Hardtop) are left on that order, you ain't getting a 2023 Bronco".

But later he says customers can remove Sas/Lux from the 2-door leaving hard top, and still get the $2500. But what good is that, if as he already stated, you ain't getting a Bronco in 2023, unless all three are removed?!
So they won't be building any Heritage Editions?

In play but maybe no vehicle. Ford knows the hardtop is a constraint, but there is no way to remove it on the 2-door. Ford is offering $2500 if 2-door customers drop all but the hardtop, but apparently the likelihood of actually getting the 2-door is still low (or essentially non-existent per the guy in the video). You've got to separate out the $2500, from getting the vehicle. Those are two separate things. What good is $2500 private offer, on a 2-door that won't get built due to hardtop constraint?
That is very true. I guess that is where your individual situation/desire comes to play. I believe early 2 door reservation holders who drop Lux and SAS will get built in MY23, but who knows. I was told to drop tow or I wouldn't get my 22, I gambled and kept it on and took delivery last July, it's all a crapshoot!.

Thanks so if I don't have SAS or LUX, I need to just sit tight? If and when they offer something like to resolve a 2 door issue, then it's time to act? It's not the impression i got from Chapman, unless they were unaware of what my order is and what you are saying
Based on the last data we had on the unfulfilled order bank, Ford can build 17% of builds as 2-doors, and has 28% of their backorder as 2-door.

That means any 2-door only has a 60% chance of being built with current constraints.

For the purposes of discussion, Granger is reporting that we would need to change from a 2DR to a 4DR and that 2DR is a constraint in and of itself due to the hardtop which is why it is on the list. With that, all 3 constraints need to be removed from the order.

I have a 2dr Badlands,2.7,Lux on order. I got my email stating it is scheduled for production in 03/07/23 week. Also got my VIN#. I am pretty sure that it will have LUX and only offered with Hard top. My understanding is you can’t modify your order once VIN is issued correct?

Ford is scheduling Heritage and Base Series this week. Manuals as well.
How do we know what is the correct information?
Contact your dealer. Ford will send out communications as well. His information is correct. The number of USO may be inflated?? but the information, that this whole thread is about is correct.

Ok. But the bronco nation post, backed by Laura says that you only need to drop 1 of the sins to get the $2500 and they will continue to build based on availability. You don't need to drop all or any for that matter to be considered for 2023. It's all clear as mud.

Removing just the hardtop ($695) would give me a $2,500 rebate? Don’t think so.

This happened to the 4 door crowd. Still worth it to have a Bronco and worry about the top later. I waited until they offered the hard top prep kit to make the switch.
I'm just hoping a soft top

Nothing I've seen has been said about the HEs but need to remember these were already going to be constrained based on the mod top and all the special bits. My take is that Ford should have already taken into account how many of these they can build and yes, it's going to be based on those constraints and where you are at your dealer within allocation. This is the same as it has been with all the other orders and really the same as this mess that we're all going thru now.
