In reference to the "was it spam" email question for the baby pics, I run my own email server and their message isn't very "spammy". This is based on my tweaked spamassassin though, so every mail server will be different on how it scores it, depending on how their filtering is configured and what type of per-user learning it may be using.

It's that time. I finally got the call from the dealer!!

I wanted to print my baby pic in 17x25 to hang in the garage next to my window sticker, but Ford's 1000x1000 image isn't really up to the task. Running it through multiple AI upsampling programs I finally ended up with a 9000x6120 (360ppi) suitable for printing. Not sure how much of my Bronco is real anymore in this, but... (this is scaled down for the post but the 9000x6120 looks just as good)

Kind of like having a delivery date of around Christmas and surrounding the tree with bronco accessories and merch, then getting pushed back to Feb?

LOL, exactly! My build date was 12/2, Bronco built and based on all communication, should have been delivered around 12/25. Tree was full of merch and accessories only to have the Bronco still sitting in the same wooded lot since 12/3. I think @Ford hired Pete Buttigieg to run their transportation department.

Just called Ford Marketing. They have no updates since 12/02/22 and no rail car info. So it is in all likelihood still in Michigan 40 days after being built. No answers as to why it isn't going anywhere or when it can be expected to move. Soon I will hit the two-year mark since ordering. What a colossal abortion of a car buying experience.

Mine was built on 12/2 as well. VINVIEW shows it sitting in a wooded lot near the plant since 12/3. Meanwhile, my dealer got one built 11/30 a month ago and one built 12/7 two weeks ago. Someone needs to explain this to me like I am 2 because it makes no sense as I have no holds and it is just waiting to be shipped.

Mine was built 11/23 but still has not shipped. No holds, moved my delivery date twice and we are past that date. Also no baby picture. So I wait and contemplate my life choices.

I’m in the same boat! Built 12/3, released from the plant to be shipped on 12/9, which was the last update. I’ve gone through 6 EDD’s now, most recent being 1/13-1/18… but no shipping notification or emails whatsoever. Autonation Ford St. Pete (Florida too!) literally just received an order that was built after mine, with way more mods! It makes zero sense and is BEYOND FRUSTRATING
All I get from dealer is these screenshots and no apologies or explanation. @ford_motor_company I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with this whole process.

Holy cow, after 5 weeks being in shipped status, I FINALLY have a railcar! Progress finally! NOW I’ll start to believe my delivery window (even if that does change, at least it’s actually on a rail car!)

I have rail car info that says mine is in Chicago. The dealership saying it is still in Michigan. Lol. Unbelievable

Same. At the local rail yard since Monday 10am. No one can give me a planned delivery date. How do they not know the day it’s supposed to be picked up to make the final trip to dealer? Surely the car haulers don’t just roll by and are like okay today I guess I’ll grab…. Hmm… eenie meenie miney mo.

Spoke with Ford Chat today and was finally able to get CSX rail tracking info for my 12/3 "Shipped" Bronco. Currently in Ohio and should be in Illinois by the end of the week. Will have to transition to Union Pacific Rail to make it to the West Coast.

Fingers crossed there aren't too many snags with the shipping

Tracking with the CSX automated phone system, mine has fortunately been making it's way to the West Coast in a pretty timely manner.

As of calling right now CSX says it's somewhere in Nevada. So just one state away.

I've been trying to call the Union Pacific automated system for a week since that will give the ETA, but the voice recognition is so terrible and never gets my voice entry correct for the letters. Tried on speaker, off speaker, on headset. No dice...

Automated Phone: "I heard CCBX. I can't find that car. Please say....."
Me: CTTX

That was my question also, how do they know? I talked to my dealer today and he had nothing from Ford. So maybe my email was an error? Who knows. This was fun and interesting before but at some point it has to stop.
