So this is just a quick application on the USAA app but doesn't this seem a bit high? Granted I'm not an 850 anymore thanks to the ex (from 10 yrs ago!!!!!!!) defaulting on student loans last year but I am back over 780. Is it just the rates these days?

I've had USAA for over a decade but they never beat a CU so I've never used them for auto loans. Actually plan on looking at progressive for insurance because USAA counts windshields as a normal deductible. This has bitten me twice and the wifey said progressive was $100 windshield deductible.

Another member in the Texas forum said Greater Texas Federal Credit Union had the best rates they could find so I'm going to try them. I'll start hitting them and USAA up tomorrow so I can avoid what @scottfwalter just mentioned.
Oh Greater Texas Federal Credit Union is really good as well.

Your dealer has a point. My EDD changed three times... while the Bronco sat in the rail yard waiting for a car hauler to take it to the dealership 2.5 hours away. Thankfully my CU extended my application and kept the same interest rate, but that's only good if the latest delivery date stays put. Supposedly its now on a car hauler so we'll see.
oh wow I thought you would have received yours by now. Sorry you are still facing transit issues. Mine is 15 miles away from my dealer still waiting for a transport.

Yup. I'd love to be able to adopt the attitude of "it'll get here when it gets here" but I have to line up pet sitting for my Great Danes, book a flight from Atlanta to Iowa, and sell my Jeep when I get back. So much riding on getting this ride more sooner than later...

OK for those in BIW status, Broncos in Waiting I am declaring today Bronco Accessory Day. What accessories do you have or plan to get? I will start:

All I’ve gotten So far is stinking weathertech Front mudflaps so I don’t screw my body paint up driving it home on my gravel road. I’m also interested in getting the slingshot from buck your bronco, I find the style to be pretty cool 😎 At affordable price. Probably the first major modification I will do is to purchase the rack and pinion kit from bronco buster. I feel that the rack and pinion is the weak point on the truck and should be addressed ASAP

Bestop Trektop (soft top) and AR stirrups for my two-door, manual Badlands. And a slew of harnesses and tie downs to try to figure out how to secure the Danes with the top down!

You gotta have a 4 door with Danes. I don't think my 2dr will fit my weimaraner and Shar pei without the seats down. I know my dane wouldn't have fit. He was a 12 year old harlequin when I moved to Europe. The army said he was too old to ship in a plane so i had to give him to family. He died a year later. Best dog I've ever had.

Now I'm crying. Silently. Cuz I'm tough. 😭

Sorry to hear about your buddy. Our big guys definitely leave a big hole in our hearts. My pups fit in my two-door Wrangler with the rear seats removed, and the Bronco is a tad bigger. I actually rented a two-door last year and could see that they'll fit, especially after a rear seat delete. Also been in touch with current Bronco owners who have giant breeds, and their pups are digging the two-door. And even if it's a little cramped, Danes love to cuddle together. When Chaos and Havoc snuggle up, I often can't tell where one dog ends and the other begins. So those fools will be fine.:)

Got some good news on my end. My Bronco arrived at Alliance this morning (7:18 AM)! Hopefully, it won't have to wait too long before it's picked up and delivered to my dealer.

@scottfwalter, any news on your Bronco? Maybe the trucking companies wait until they have more of a full load before picking up and delivering vehicles to local area dealers. Maybe it will now be loaded and delivered.

Yeah, checked this morning and mine reached Alliance, TX as well. How do you know Alliance is the last stop? I was told it should continue down to the rail yard in Pearland, TX if your dealership is in Houston.

Nothing yet, but my estimated delivery window ends today so crossing my fingers. I don't quite understand how the car carrier transportation works:

* Does a single transport only go to one dealer?
* Who is responsible for shipping from Alliance to the dealer? Is it Ford or is it the dealer?

It would be nice if there was some sort of tracking. However, once it gets to Alliance no one seems to know anything until it magically arrives at the dealer.

I did notice something odd: no matter how many times you press refresh on the pizza tracker it does not give the results you want

@orange_methodology is in the DFW area. For us Alliance is the last stop on the rail.
