Took delivery today! United Road tracker estimated delivery tomorrow but I noticed it updated to "in route" at 8 am this morning. I noticed it was on the move and grabbed Rex and hit the road for the dealer.
Pulled into the dealership about 2 minutes before the transport truck.
Spoke to the sales rep and determined they had to do some inspections and install some accessories so I head over to NFCU and got my down payment and loan checks.
I technically had to get some work done so I went home, worked a few hours and got the call to pick her up at 4. Had to wait for GF to get home so she could drive my other car home after (giving it to a family member). Eventually picked up Big Red around 7 pm.
Wound up getting the extended warranty as I plan to keep it for a long time. Didn't get a price protection certificate but did submit a rebate form. They said if I was eligible I would get a check in a few weeks. I'm not holding my breath on that one. I figured I could argue all day and walk away with nothing, or accept the idea that I might get something eventually and drive away in my dream car.
I wish the price protection went smoother but other than that, the process was smooth. I got my Bronco and now I get to drive a vehicle that has A/C, doesn't leak, radio works, and doesn't vibrate at high speeds unlike my '05 explorer.
Not going to say "It's Worth the wait!" yet as it's raining and dark and I barely got to drive it but hot damn I'm so pumped to finally have her. It's my first ever brand new car and I've worked so hard to save up the money and resisted the peer pressure from friends and family to buy a house.

Just got bounced to a new delivery window. 12/29-1/4. I’ll believe it when I go into shipped status…
To those that took delivery recently, did the tracker update to "Final Preparation" and Delivered email sent before or after your dealer contacted you?

The tracker did change to Final Prep for me but I didn't get an email when it changed or when I took delivery yesterday. BTW, it's AWESOME!!!
Yea, WIth no rail information, and nothing from the dealer i am expecting to get bounced to early new year as well. WOMP WOMP

Whelp even though it's not what I want, I'm at least getting the same message across all avenues. Contacted my dealer a couple days ago and still said my delivery was expected before EOY even though my status hasn't changed to shipped. He did speculate that the latest delivery might be end of January which is already what I was buffering for 
Chatted in and they said the same on delivery window and status. Also provided me the NVST number and NVST just told me the exact same expected delivery window and no delays they could see. The NVST rep did say that if there's an update it'll likely be next week which 
I would certainly hope so.

Well it finally arrived! 469 days later. It arrived at the dealer first thing this morning. Problem is, I’m in another state until the new year! It’s torture 
Same here. Today my delivery dates moved back 4 days to 12/23-12/29... But with neither Ford support or my dealer having any shipping info, gonna assume it will continue into the new year (sigh).

I know! So close, yet so far away!!
After almost two weeks of sitting at the railyard waiting to go the last 50 miles, my Bronco was finally delivered to the dealer today. I should be able to finally pick it up next week.
