How long were you on chip hold. I've been on hold since 12/13called this afternoon to check in - knock on wood no chip hold
It seems like the Badlands are on a chip hold, but the WildTraks or not. Is it common to have one specific trim level be able to chip hold?

Ford chat told me 2 days ago that the WT is on chip hold….so we shall see!
MichiganMichael just received his Wildtrak. I called this morning and there was no mention of a chip hold for my WT. Hence my question.
Interesting. Maybe it’s some type of electronics option.Yeah Ford Chat as well as Customer Service confirmed there was no chip hold on my badlands bronco.

Maybe the hold is because of the Lux Package

My WT is a High package with a chip plant hold (per chat support). Part of me wonders if this is a generic/filler response or an accurate one?

I have the same exact delivery date. What dealer did you order from & where are you located?As the lone active Everglades build in our 12/12 spreadsheet tracker, there’s been movement this morning.
Estimated Delivery now 1/4/2023 - 1/10/2023. Not the Christmas gift one would hope for, but a New Years one indeed.
By the time I got home it was dark. But, ride seemed to be good. My mom said it had a good ride. She could barely climb up into it so the side step need to go on quickly. Overall, I went from worried about the purchase to “this is going to be fun” in about 20 minutes.
I truly can’t wait to join some local club outings and just have fun.
I'm still in purgatory - my WT is in production since the 19th - can't ford update data in 5 days - it only takes a day to build the darn thing - ford chat says there is no chip / delay issue - so why the five days? no one has that answer so what good is ford chat
