Anyone getting a Non-Sasquatched Badlands?

Seriously, why would anyone pay up front for beadlock capable wheels on a Badlands that is used at all on the street? If someone wanted to use them, they would need another set of wheels and rubber for the road anyway. The sensible thing would be to save the money up front and only buy a set of beadlocks if they truly were going to use them.

The real question is; Is the option cost of the cosmetic (and likely never used extra utility) of the larger wheel/tire package more than the cost of a (possible) re-gear and conventional wheels/tires in the Samsqanch size? (and you could sell the factory 33's in about 15 seconds for a good bit of coin as well if you did not want them)

The "beadlock capable" wheels can be mounted in street style, or beadlock style w/the add on beadlock rings sold as an accessory. 1 wheel for hardcore offroad and street use...albeit not exactly convenient to switch. Agreed not a needed option for light use. Really cool option for some of us, and there is no penalty for street use...just looks cool!

Yup as of now unless Ford does stuff different. 4 door 2.7/A10 MIC top high package cause I want the 360. I will go aftermarket for a 35 setup down the road

Echoing what many others have said here. Have been manual only the whole time. I was initially sad Sasquatch wasn't available with the manual but then realized Badlands has Sas with smaller tires which I like better anyway.

I'm limited by opting for the manual.

But even if I weren't, 33" K02s are probably the tire I'd want anyway.

I’m on the fence about the Sasquatch package. I live in SoCal, so MT tires aren’t really needed, I would rather have 35 KO2 tires. I also like the replacement rings on the beadlock wheels.

But I’m leaning towards not getting the Sasquatch package and get accessories instead, like the wench and the slide out shelf.

I was tempted to get the BL without squatch, but I decided to squatch and upgrade to the 2.7 in the BD, pricing them both out were about the same but I feel the BD is more rig with the squatch and bigger motor

As I said pricing out a BL with no squatch and the 2.3 vs a BD 2.7 and squatch the BD is more rig
Prices are similar so I went with the bigger motor and squatch package

I would get the non squatch BL if it came with the 4.7 gears.

It does if you stick with the manual. If you can tune the 2.3 engine later, you might not feel too bad about missing out on the v6.

Curious as to how many people are getting the Badlands but not the Sasquatch package, do you feel the trim is sufficient for your needs and the upgraded package doesn't warrant the cost for you?

I am NOT getting Squatched. My badlands will have the 33s and 2.7L Auto. Just don't need the road noise.

Nah not for what I do, I am not a serious crawler more of a backroads, fireroads to the trailhead kind of guy

There are also 33 MTs that are optional for the BL. That being said I am with you on the 2.7 I am interested to see how that will tune after updating the exhaust and intake.

It will depend on how the B&P comes out. But with the available information, I don’t see a lot of upside for the Sasquatch Badlands for somebody that is looking to modify the vehicle. I fully plan on having 37” or 38” tires within 5,000 miles on the vehicle - hopefully less if they fit with minor work. Since the Badlands only gets beadlock capable (that I will never use) wheels, 35’s, and slightly increased gear ratio...it just doesn’t seem worth it to me for what you get.
