Hello guys...

So my dealer happens to have a 2022 arriving next week, badlands with Sasquatch and the A51 color I want... or I could wait about two months more to get a 2023 with same or similar specs but around $2,500 more...

Should I wait for a 2023? Any differences besides the temp gauges that may increase reliability and performance?

Thanks!

Up until about a week ago, the 2023MY units had a better 7 speaker audio system with a subwoofer. Both 2021/2022 had a 6 speaker setup without a sub. BUT earlier this week Ford announced they were having supply constraints with the new audio system and most non-Lux 2023 orders moving forward will be given a 6-speaker setup.

Other than that and the temp dials you already mentioned, there are no additional major changes known.

If you can, I would wait. It’s always better to have an extra year to work out all the tweaks. Some are known by the public, some are not known by the public.

It will not really matter.
Unless you are impatient, then it will matter.
Unless you loose the ability to drive, then it will matter.
May you stay healthy, live long & prosper.....and drive your Bronco wherever and however you want -happily for many years grasshopper.

The 23 has the temp back on the dials for the HVAC. Cant think of any other changes.

If the 2023 isn’t a LUX package you might lose the subwoofer. The 2022 will have the subwoofer. My opinion is get the 22 now if you can.

Both come with B&O so the sub should be there anyways…

If you know it's coming, it's what you want and same price, wait for the 23. There's always small changes you don't see (wiring, modules, programming) and hopefully it's for the better. A 23 should retain higher resale long term as well.

This is incorrect. 2021 and 2022 never had a subwoofer. The subwoofer was (supposed to be) an added perk for 2023MY.

Doesn’t matter in this case since both of the Broncos @James Cole is looking at are Lux. But just in case someone else comes across this thread.

IMO, wait for the 2023. As September, October, November came and went and I didn't have my 2022, I was glad it was converted to a 2023. Hoping and praying that I'm not in the same situation at the end of next year though. :)
