Greetings 12/12 Build Week Crew! I saw a post where someone was looking for recent experiences. I'll post mine, but you can also check out build weeks 10/24 and 10/31, as those folks have been great at posting their updates. Also, don't forget to check out the info on the "Trackers" link at the top of this page. You'll find out all you need to know about the production and delivery process.

I'm a July 2020 reservation holder. MY22, 2DR Badlands, 7MT, mid and tow packages, picking up at Granger. Original build week was 10/24 with an original EDD of November 18. Got bumped four times before finally landing in build week 11/14.

BUILD WEEK: 11/14
BLEND DATE: 11/16 (date the body and the chassis come together... this is not the "built" date)
UPDATED ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE: Dec 10 - Dec 16

Note: It took numerous chats to find out that I was on chip hold, even when I asked them outright. During those few weeks, chat continued to provide the same EDDs, which were never going to happen as the vehicle hadn't been "built" yet.

ACTUAL BUILD DATE: Dec 12. (vehicle was then sent for additional quality control checks. rigs are also sent to mods shops for additional items like roof racks and tow hitch, which also adds time after "built" status)
UPDATED DELIVERY DATE: Jan 1 - Jan 7 via rail

As you can see, my dates jumped all over the place, from an original EDD of November 18 to an estimated delivery date of January 1-7. Best to take everything with a grain of salt and don't make any moves (locking in financing, selling/trading a vehicle, etc.) until you're notified the rig is on its way. Check out other build weeks to see typical times from built to delivered. For example, it's typically been taking three weeks from built to delivery at Granger.

Hope this helps! Good Luck All!

That’s not really anything for us to decipher. It’s all internal service numbers type stuff. It’s the address that the body control modules use to address all the different sensors, and all that sort of jazz. They’re like the Forscan codes and such. Nothing we need to worry about. Just that they’re there.
Thanks, I wasn't sure if I was supposed figure out what it all meant.

You're welcome! Oh, I forgot... after the Bronco is built, you'll have the pleasure of following its progress if it goes by rail. Folks get frustrated when they see their rail car stuck in one place for days on end. However, it's important to keep in mind that certain trains (for example those with livestock or the mail) take precedence over other freight, and sometimes the train with our Broncos might have to pull over and wait for those high priority trains to pass. Also, engineers and conductors can only work a set amount of hours before having to be relieved, which can also add time to an otherwise straightforward route. And at the end of the line, there needs to be a licensed trucker available to take a load to the dealership.

So there's a lot that goes into the process. It can be confusing and frustrating. But hang in there. From what I hear once you're behind the wheel of your rig you won't be able to wipe the smile off your face.
