Where is my Bronco?! How to track order, delivery, info thread [updated December 9, 2022]

Hello all, I am new to the forums but have been watching for a while and really appreciate all the effort and work so many have put into providing info. I had a blend date of 12/6 (last week) and received the note it went into production just a few days before that. Currently my status still shows as "in production" but based on others it seems it should have moved to "built" fairly soon afterwards. Any ideas? Or is it just a case of mine is one of those that isn't getting information updates?

Built, yes… If you had mod shop items such as modular bumper, trailer hitch, body graphics and a few other add ones it can take bit more.
For reference:
I had a 9.05 build date
9.07 Blend
9.08 completed
BUT…. sat until 9.24 to be “cleared ” through mod shop for bumper/hitch/Wildtrak hood and side graphics

Built, yes… If you had mod shop items such as modular bumper, trailer hitch, body graphics and a few other add ones it can take bit more.

Thanks but I don't think I have anything that has to go through the mod shop but then again I am still learning about the process. Since it is a Raptor the hitch and bumper weren't options (as I recall) they are standard and I didn't select any graphics. Since I am in Colorado now I opted for the engine block heater and I have the leather interior (which I may live to regret). Perhaps while the hitch and bumper are standard they are still done at the mod shop?

Just like many of us, I have found many different ways to find where my Bronco was in the process, what the status was at any given time, and what the hell is going on with lost shipments, time delays and unspecified delays.

Many of us have been very anxious to receive our new Bronco, and many of us have been delayed for many different reasons. After 2 years, 4 months, and 6 days of waiting since my original reservation date, I have compiled a lot of information that may be useful to some of you. If you are looking to find information on different parts of the Bronco journey, I am sharing information found within many different threads and forum members posts.

I do not take credit for finding out all of this info and certainly am not passing it off as my own.

Thank you to the original forum members who posted information or sent me information to help me during my process. I thought out of courtesy, I could pass it on to others who are relentless about finding information, having OCD New Bronco Syndrome, or just simply want answers faster than Ford can provide them. FYI- Canned responses from Marketing Team are NOT uncommon-
Marketing will ALWAYS state dealer has more resources available to them. NOT true, they see the same info Marketing can see. As of this writing Dealer also has VINVIEW access, while Marketing Currently does not. (12/2022)- However, Marketing has acknowledged that they have been given access to VINVIEW, but are not able to use it,, yet.

Marketing will also look at historical data, ie, your vehicle is in MAP, but they fail to see that there is a system lag, and that indeed it was placed on railcar but their internal systems still show no movement, or same thing while it is on rail. Please be kind, as we have more resources than they do to track rail. (See below)

It is not uncommon for a CSR member or Marketing member to say that your vehicle is In-Transit, and quote the ETA that is in the system, along with encouragement that the vehicle has shipped. False hope people, false hope. If you get that representative that insists it shipped and is moving through the shipping process, and they cannot see its location anywhere else but MAP, or Blue Island, IL, AND there is no railcar YOU can track, chances are, you should call back in a few minutes. The new Rep you get will most likely realign your hopes, and state, they still see it in MAP. Sorry, but I know this all too well, and rather you know it, than be crushed like we were!

1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Well holy cow that was fast it went from built to shipped and so now it is in transit to my dealer. Hope to see it in a few weeks.

Mine was built the week of 11/23. I received the email stating built with an estimated delivery of 12/13-12/16. It is not here. When I go on the Ford tracking website, it still says built but no longer has the delivery date. Anyone seen this or have a clue?? Should I be worried? Only option was the mod bumper. thanks in advance

Try Chat or call. I’m pretty much same but without an actual ship date. Chat today said delivery bumped to this week 12/19-23. Never had anything beyond “built” in Ford tracking….

Yea that didn't work. All they told me was that it was in Chicago and it left from there a long time ago. They claim they cant see the trains every location of where it stops.

Once you have a rail car number, which they (marketing, chat, dealer) have once your bronco is loaded, it is up to you to track.

Marketing will only see the load and once it reaches Blue Island IL- after that, they don’t see anything, other than in transit and a rail car. Chat- same. Dealer can see notifications that are specific to your broncos progress, usually interchange points where they offload other cars, and train is stopped, or points where your car is picked up from another line. All the waypoints are through tracking that you perform by being obsessed with calling the rail tracking, also supplied in my post.

Oh yea Ive been calling the rail every hour on the hour lol! Currently today, its been saying the same thing as far as departure from the last point and hasnt moved so that would make them unloading other cars makes sense thus far and my ETA changing to Christmas eve now.
