Also this may or not be the place for it, but since we all should be taking delivery soon, make sure you double check your price protection (if you have it). I was the first 2023 to come through my dealer and the price protection program is completely different this year than last year and it's looking like some dealers aren't sure how to deal with it.

At first they told me I didn't qualify because of options changes (not true) and after some polite but firm push back, they dug deeper and there just wasn't an offer in the system under my name + zipcode (possibly because I moved, who knows, it's been 2 years). Took my sales guy, the sales manager, and a Ford rep on the phone 40 mins to sort it out.

I called Ford and the gave me 2 price protection numbers $250 or $2845 and said I could only use one number. I will be bringing that info to dealer when I complete sales order. My dealer said there is nothing to do until it arrives at dealer which I find odd..what about the sales order financing etc? I do that when I pick up? I may be using alternate financing, how do I get a check without a sales contract?

I didn’t get either. I got my built email yesterday morning and my dealer called me around 11am saying it was delivered.

Shows built status this morning on pizzatracker. No email or updates. Says we are arranging shipment to your dealer and this could take a few days to a week.

Did they take the price protection amount off the top before taxes or did they charge/tax you on MSRP and then give the price protection?

The price protection is a private offer rebate now (23) which doesn't affect the "taxable" vehicle price. Which surprised me since I thought it was lowering the sale price. YMMV by State, I'm in Indiana.

Because the private offer has to be re-generated in the system [this is specifically in my case, most people it should be there already] I just took the option to get a check from Ford. That should always be an option for everyone (if you qualify for PP) and there's a sales document you sign that states the rebate amount and that the dealer is agreeing that Ford can release that directly to you.

12/9 Blend - Tear Tag showed up overnight. Tracker says Built, estimated delivery 1/7 - 1/13/23 . No email yet.

At least this long journey has a finish line now.

No to either of those on my end. Just showed up at the dealer about 24 hours after the pizza tracker changed to "Shipped." [Convoy so shipping was super quick] Seems like the "birthday" photos might not be a thing anymore. I haven't seen any from 2023's yet.

The 20223 Broncos are being delivered quick... so u may have to wait a few.more weeks on delivery room pics.

Has anyone in Texas, specifically Houston, heard anything concrete on shipping? The tracker shows built on 12/8 and I got the built email on 12/10, but everything still says they are arranging shipment. Estimated window of 12/27-1/2 holding steady.

Also, are most people going in to their dealers to finalize everything before hand or just once it shows up?

I called the Ford Marketing Dept Monday to see if they could get me a rail car number since I received a "Shipped" email from Ford Friday. The associate could only find the same delivery window I received in my email and told me to follow up with my dealer later this week. No biggie. Then he informed me the price protection I'm due has changed to the "2023 Bronco Transition Private Offer" and he gave me a certificate number to email to my dealer so they can use it towards my purchase. He told me it would end up being a little more than the price protection would have ended up being. We'll see how accurate all of this ends up being. Fingers crossed this last phase goes smoothly. It's been a long 2.5 year wait.

I mean the actual order date, not reservation. But if you reserved 2020 you probably placed your order before March '21 and should qualify for the full Level A price protection which is the $2845 that Ford mentioned. So you should be good to go on the price protection front.

The only way that changes is if you changed trim levels or number of doors from what you originally ordered the first time.

Yay, shows as built now on the tracker and because I have daughters I know my Bronco shares a birthday with Taylor Swift.

Estimated delivery 12/31 - 1/6...to San Diego...doubtful.
