CSX all the way
Sponsored
YesQuestion for you folks down south. I got a CSX rail car number. Can I track that all the way through down to Texas through CSX or will I have to find another way to track it when I'm assuming it gets transferred to a different carrier (guessing UP)?
Last update from the automated CSX line was that it was unloaded in Chicago clearing on 12/8
Perfect, thank you. Guess I'm just waiting for the rail car to be transferred/picked up by UP.Yes
CSX will work for the entire journey until unloaded.
From Chicago some go UP and some go BNSF. Mine went BNSF to Alliance (Ft Worth). Where abouts in TX?Perfect, thank you. Guess I'm just waiting for the rail car to be transferred/picked up by UP.
Lubbock area, I believe my dealer said the major hub there is up in Amarillo. From Chicago some go UP and some go BNSF. Mine went BNSF to Alliance (Ft Worth). Where abouts in TX?
That is correct.Lubbock area, I believe my dealer said the major hub there is up in Amarillo.
Yes, you should be able to. I'm in OK and UP had my railcar out of Chicago but I could track off of CSX also. Doesn't hurt to call UP also because they sometimes give a little different info. *sometimes* lolQuestion for you folks down south. I got a CSX rail car number. Rail Road DictionaryI have a CSX update if “intermediate arrival in Hearne TX at 8:15 on 12/9” but nothing has changed since then.
does anyone know what this means and whether there could be updates on the weekend or if it only runs during the week?
Yeah I looked at that actually and did some other searches but the best I could figure out is that it means the train stopped there, and then from that point it could have done any number of things, but I’ll just keep checking in on it and hopefully get some progress.Rail Road Dictionary

Updates do happen on weekends

Glad it arrived for you!! Mine had 26miles on it and I know it was trailered to dealer. My dealer speculates the miles on our are from some kind of extra testing they did during our extended wait.I hope the best for you all. Frankly I'm really surprised mine is at the dealer. I almost didn't believe them. Every step of the train ride had delay after delay, got to Richmond and sat stuck on the rail car.
But from the time it finally got unloaded from the rail car, to when my dealer called me was only 2 days! Interesting enough, my Bronco has 30 miles on it.... Almost wondering if they didn't drive it from the rail yard to the dealer?
That’s absolutely BS and they’re full of shit. Ford doesn’t set the sale price the dealer does. Ford was already paid for your bronco when the dealer ordered it. They basically front the money on your behalf and pay Ford what they establish as the cost based on the window sticker and when in arrives you are reimbursing the dealer. So that 5k is all them!!![]()
you’ve got to be kidding me. My friend just started working at this dealership so I told him to figureout what’s going On. It wasn’t my fault that it was delayed three months of delivery. Sales guy is claiming that Ford (allegedly) corporate switched it up and have to put 5k markup on post November deliveries, sounds like BS to me
