10/31/2022 build week group

Well, chat pushed me again to 12/26. Doesn’t look like I’ll be getting mine until next year. Disappointment has all but vanished to be replaced by disgust and anger. I don’t know if I even want it anymore. I have a 1974 Bronco that I still love but I will never buy another Ford. And my husband is crushed by that because he is the biggest Ford guy. We’ve had many. But this entire situation has been such a slap in the face. We will be selling our F100 and I don’t even know if I want to look at our ‘68 fastback project anymore either. From our local dealers all being D bags to getting completely ignored because we chose to go to a smaller dealer that seemed like a decent human it has been an absolute s storm the entire way. I was SO excited when they announced this release. I’m only a day two reservation because I stayed up until 2am trying in vain to get through on the reservation site on day one and it kept crashing. But over 2 years of being yanked around and treated this poorly is really enough. I know I’m preaching to the choir in this forum but since Ford is deaf to loyal customers like me, you guys get to read it.

As much as it pains me to say this, take Chat's dates with a grain of salt. They pushed my delivery to 12/20 and now I'm back to 12/8. They are a magic 8 ball at best.

Mine is having some stuff done, says 1.5 days to do but who knows when they’ll be able to.
Mine is getting delivered to me since I live several hours away but I’m itching to make the drive just to lay eyes on it.

Checked with Ford Chat this morning and I finally got my chip with a built date of 12/5. Apparently, it has shipped with an EDD of 12/23-12/29. I don't think that date will hold, and even if it does I will be out of town visiting family. At least we are seeing movement though!

It could hold! I was initially on chip hold with EDD to 12/18. Once it got the chip and shipped, it wound up getting to the dealer yesterday! It's across the country and I can't get there for 2 weeks sadly

Anyone have any fun upgrades planned? Probably nothing too crazy for me, mostly cosmetic as it will be my DD as well. Planning for the Oracle illuminated dash letters, probably some side mirror and bumper lighting to help illuminate trails, and a rood top tent. We'll see where that takes me

What was your "built" and "shipped" date? Also, I have been following other shipments in here to Texarkana and Houston. It seems they struggled for a few weeks even getting to Texas. We will see though!

I honestly forget when it flipped to built, but IIRC it showed shipped on 11/21 and arrived at the NY railyard on the 26th

My dealership called today around 1 and said she was in! Picked her up at 5 tonight and it’s even more gorgeous in person! Getting tires and rims replaced tomorrow.
