The only carriers to Des Moines for me and Omaha for you are UP and BNSF and neither have joe schmo friendly tracking. You'll also have Canada Pacific and Canada National but I'm not familiar with their tracking and odds are you're on a UP or BNSF train anyway.

Following the directions here, I believe it was originally on a CSX train but has since transferred to Norfolk Southern. Just called and it was in Gibson, IN as of yesterday morning.

Others in this week going to Omaha/Granger were transferred to Norfolk Southern because the route goes to Kansas City then up to Omaha so I'm holding onto hope..even if it's false loool

Anyway, I did learn this which might be helpful for folks in GA. DCCU has a 2.98% till end of November, If you go in and start the loan today you have 30 days to complete it. If you do complete all the paperwork, which you need to know your out the door price with money down etc with signed paperwork they’ll cut you a check to pay the dealer and that’s good for a year.

I’m all set with my dealer, all the bronco needs to do is go 40 miles already.

Friends at UP and BNSF said we're either on BNSF or Norfolk and will end up in Omaha where we'll be loaded on a truck to the dealer. Omaha, NE is the Auto Distribution Center hub for UP, BNSF and NS. All to say, WTF knows but I'll be there soon. lol

Ford is telling me that I will not be offered the MY21 to MY22 price protection certificate ($975 for Badlands 2 Door). 7/14/20 reservation, ordered 8/10/21, reordered 10/13/21, never changed a single thing on my build.

Ford or the Dealer? Some dealers are handling the price protection for ford where you receive a rebate check in the mail after the purchase.

Thanks for the reminder! I just called them! Rate is 2.98% for 60 months, 3.48% for 72 months, and 3.98% for 84 months. Also, if the rates do go down and anyone is thinking about refinancing when they do, I was told that DCCU has a special around April and November when the used car interest rates are the same as the new car rates. Those rates are good till 11/30, I suspect that bottom rate will go up over 4% after that unless you have already completed your financing or are in the 30 day window after getting approved.

Yes, just giving the range of options in case anyone is interested. He did mention the possibility of the Feds raising the rates again, but based on my delivery date I should be well within that 30-day window. Fingers and paws crossed over here! Thanks again for the reminder... now if that sexy beast can just get delivered to the dealership!
