Well, @Ford did it again. Bumped my delivery date for the 5th time even though the vehicle is on a train. This time I am going from 11/9 to 11/15 to 12/2 to 12/8. This is beyond F’d up. What I don’t get is, when I tried to call the Norfolk Southern automated tracer line it does not work and I ended speaking with someone who told me my railcar left Buffalo on Friday at 7:30 a.m. it was due at the Petersburg Virginia Automotive Distribution Facility on 11/16.

How did you find out the rail car is scheduled to arrive on November 16th? The rail number I have been using is TTGX 922040 that car has been in Bellview,Ohio for about the last 18 hours. It this the same car?
Forgive any typing errors or missed questions. I don’t have my reading glasses.

It is not the same number. Mine is TTGX160207. I calledNorfolk Southern’s automated tracer line and it never works. Somehow I got someone on the line and they told me the status of the railcar.

I'm gonna really enjoy when the dealer starts to sweat on my deal because my ship date keeps getting bumped.

Good morning @RAMTOWIT, like a fool I have been calling Norfolk Southern because I was told this was the rail line being used. It’s an NS car but CSX is moving it. I tried CSX’s automated tracking number this morning and my railcar arrived in Bellevue Ohio on November 12 with no ETA For Petersburg.

The person that told me it was supposed to arrive in Petersburg on November 16th was a NS employee. I guess NS picks up our rail cars at some point in the delivery process for them to know where it is and when it is supposed to arrive.

I ordered my Bronco 1/2/22
A couple of scheduled for production delays in September 22
My truck got totaled in hurricane Ian on 9/28
Finally Built 9/30/22
ETA was 10/21-10/27
Was thinking perfect timing to replace my truck.

I have been checking https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking
Everyday. Yesterday same thing as it has been since it was built, “awaiting shipment”.

But today when I enter my info I get:
“We're sorry. We are unable to process this Order. Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN.”

I know my customer order number and vin is valid, I copy and paste it every day.
Maybe the site is down? Anyone else get an error message like that today?

Yeah, I got that message this morning too. The site messes up sometimes.

I want to bump now though, because I reached out to my dealer for the rail car number and he said they're not allowed to give it out anymore. I may try ford chat but this last leg may be in the dark.

My dealership AND the Ford chat rep gave me my railcar number. Good luck.

That's interesting because my rail car is also still sitting in Bellevue, Ohio. I guess even though we have different rail car numbers maybe both ourcarswe be heading to Petersburg at the same time.

I finally decided to watch this thread. Somehow it’s a slight bit comforting that others are in the same situation as me. Misery loves company I suppose. @Trieck32 has been my go-to for major information updates because it hurts to keep looking every day. My thought is that when his arrives mine will follow since we have the same dealership and build dates.

As much as this all sucks I agree completely that others in the same situation makes it a little less horrible. If I was the only one in our build week, or previous I would assume mine is just lost somewhere!

If I was the only one in our build week, or previous I would assume mine is just lost somewhere!

That's pretty much the situation I was in, and how I felt. I just pictured my Bronco being parked off somewhere on some back 40 never to be seen again.

This thread and the 9/19 build week thread are about the only ones I check anymore. I get too mad and frustrated if I venture out a lot more than that.
