Thanks for the tips! Saved your message for when the time comes. Sounds like a great trip, I know I've certainly driven down 80 enough for one lifetime. ?
Depending on where you live and how much time you have I would suggest taking the Bronco up the Mississippi River Roads. Did that a few years Went through Dubuque, Prairie Du Chein, ended in La Crosse and it was a really scenic cool drive. They have a park that’s on top of a bluff out near PDC that was cool to see. You can overlook the whole area from there. It’s like a midwestern mountain for us haha. If you end up taking delivery from Granger in fall while leaves are changing you won’t regret that drive.

Must be nice to be able to but a car that way. And here I am attaching numbers and trying to see how I can save a couple hundred bucks like the date of the world depends on it.

If I'm honest, I'm not planning to off-road this thing. Well do longer road trips to national parks, some more remote camping, maaaaybe some kind of back roads mudding (basically everything I could probably also do in a Subaru), but I'm wondering if any of you guys are into the offroad scene around here. Never had a truck that was capable of any of that, so I'm not sure what NoIL has to offer.

Also, we gotta do some kind of meet up when all this finally subsides.
Agreed. When we bought our Kia Optima we had a terrible time with local dealers. We ended up in Racine for a really good deal at Boucher Kia. I have no issues leaving the Chicago area dealers behind, I have a few choice words to describe them, but I'll just keep that to myself.

My usage will be like yours, it'll be my daily driver to and from work (very short commute), but we'll take it camping up in Michigan and run some trails up there. Nothing crazy, but something to have fun with my wife and 2 boys. We plan to take longer trips to National Parks, but that won't be for at least a couple years.

I'd be interested to meetup with some local Bronco owners. I'm sure there'd be some really interesting discussion on how and why we all are salivating over getting a reservation and hopefully buying one before 2022. LOL

Saved your message as well, thanks so much! Gone need to restrain myself and not drive through these places sooner than the Bronco trip...

For those interested, just met my guy at Hawk, and I've got great confidence in him and them. While they want to sell over MSRP, Ford is the one saying, no...MSRP. So there won't be any deals to be had...but hoping that's the top. NOTE: Hawk will be a 'Bronco showroom', which means they'll have demos in Nov, they're hoping, to look and touch but not drive. And see the actual colors. So you want to find the 'Bronco showrooms'.

Regarding MSRP, I got a similar message from Joe Cotton Ford in Carol Stream. I haven't had any in-depth conversations, but they said Ford wasn't allowing a mark-up above MSRP. They overlooked the part asking about X-Plan in the email, so no word there....

My guy is St. Charles, used to be Zimmerman. I assume they'll all be the same, but I know St. Charles will be a showroom.

Thanks. That's a pretty long haul for me, hopefully there will be one closer - like, ideally, my currently selected dealer. I'll have that convo with them after B&P is released and we can discuss pricing with no excuses.

I really hope they cleaned house when they switched to Hawk.. I have had 3 really bad experiences with shady employees over the years when I tried to go to Zimmerman.

Are you sure they are not talking about the Bronco Sport in Late November early December?...

The production line is not up on the Bronco 2 & 4 Doors yet...

The Mannequin (show & tell) units are to be here early next year...

Great question and I don't know! Have to ask. Even if it is the Sport, at least we can see the colors and all, just now the roof removal will work. I assume Sport lets the doors come off?
