Build week of: 10/17/2022

New here, but have followed along for quite some time. My bronco had a 10/20 blend and build date, then was delivered Monday the 24th. I picked it up today. Once I went into production, things went pretty quickly!

Got my built email 0351 this morning. It was showing built on the Ford tracker since Monday but in production on the Order track app.
This paragraph was in the built email:

Great news! Your 2022 Bronco Badlands™ 2 Door has been built. Right now, we are performing some final inspections on your vehicle to get it ready for shipment. While this could add time to your wait, it ensures that we deliver a vehicle that you can depend on.

Anybody else get this? Did I get pulled for extra QC?

Mine seems to have taken longer throughout the build process
Blend 10/18 In production 10/19 Built 10/24

I got that email, Saturday, the 22nd. I think it's a CYA email in case of; QC? Computer module problems? Alien invasion? Etc?
Monday the 24th, I got an email saying mine had been shipped, with delivery dates expected 5-11 November.
Now I'm expecting the railroad strike delay email.

I do believe you still qualify for some sort of price protection though! The information that I got from Ford when I called was that “the incentive had been protected.” Meaning the dealer locked my price when they submitted my order. Hopefully, they did that for you as well! And so long as you didn’t change anything (according to their guidelines) after March 7, 2022, you should get that price from time of ordering.

Got the same email this morning. Build date was 10/21. Doesn't take them long to build a vehicle in a week. Sounds like we will have early Christmas. Glad they are doing their checks. Delivery date is mid-Nov. Ordered maxed out Badlands(4 door), Sasquatch, Eruption Green, Lux, Hard Top on 12/23/2021.

the train schedules are interesting. myself and one other have been sitting in Walbridge, OH since the 25th. Scheduled to hit the huge switching yard in Blue Island, IL tomorrow evening (28th). I saw in the 10-10 thread that blue island was a major hub where they switch locomotives and mainline carrier will pick up the load to final destinations. Hopefully after tomorrow we have some better movement. The unloading yard for this region is in Henderson, CO right where Highway 85 and I76 converge.

According to the location of my rail car yesterday, it went into “interchange” in Illinois. I guess this is what you’re talking about? I couldn’t make out the city that was said, but I told my husband it sounds like a big deal. I told him I’d expect it to make its way to Texas soon, now. Who knows?

they pushed this trains schedule back a day too, originally it was supposed to hit blue island today - 27th, so hopefully no more delays. I ordered with my dealer on 11-5-21 (didn't confirm for some reason till 11-10) and it's scheduled for delivery 11-5-22 haha! we'll see if it's really 365 to the day or not.
