9/26/2022 Build Week Thread with Spreadsheet

Well come Monday I will be built, fully released and awaiting shipment for a full month. Still no answers of how that happens and no real idea when it actually will move to being shipped. I have stopped checking the tracker at this point.

Hope you all are enjoying your broncos. Maybe mine makes it out of purgatory before they start shipping 23s but feels pretty unlikely.

I was looking for a specific post to reply to, but it seems a number of us are in the same boat: Build is fully complete and we are awaiting shipment and or delivery. I've been completed for 3-4 weeks now, and it will be shipped to NJ via rail, but there are no updates or changes in shipment progress. I guess after 8 months of waiting to get built I should have learned more patience!

Well talked to Ford chat. Bronco is in Chicago Illinois as of today which is the first day in my delivery window. I feel like there is now way it will be here by the 1st.

I’m in the same situation. Dealer told me that he has had vehicle sit for 3 months waiting shipping after fully built and released. Crazy!

My bronco is only a few miles from my dealership and it was released to the local trucking company on Monday. I hope to get a call that it’s arrived before the week is out!

Mine was released yesterday but said no status this morning and now released again. I'm guessing they ran out of time to unload. Have you checked again, you might be in a similar boat.

In the saga of where is the bronco... I finally got a rail car # Sunday. CSX touch trace had the car leaving Wayne MI at 1am Monday. Arrived at Wayne MI 1am Tuesday. Departed Wayne MI at 1am Monday (again) and arrived at Walbridge OH (55 min drive 60 miles) at 4am Wednesday. Detroit to charleston is about a 14 hour drive. Make it make sense.

All railroads are running less trains but longer trains. The tracks they have that allow passing are now too short so trains get stuck waiting. Also residential areas require low speed while rural is still like 55 max.

Yes it does. I’m in the same boat. It’s setting in the yard just a short drive from my office and it’s driving me crazy knowing it is here and waiting yet I can’t do a damn thing about it.

Just got a text from my salesman with a pic of my Bronco that was delivered today. I’m picking it up tomorrow. This is a little later than the original window from Ford, but about 10 days earlier than what I was told over the past couple of weeks.

My bronco was finally delivered to the dealer, so should be just a few more days until we can take delivery! Only took a week at the auto yard before making it the final 20 miles to dealer, so could’ve been worse, I guess.

First hand experience from a Marta trip from Hell. Was traversing the normally 45 minute trip when all of a sudden we heard that a train had blocked the path so everyone was doing switchbacks to get around. I was on Marta that day for 5 hours. Last time I took Marta for work.

Similar situation happened in Canada from Montreal to Toronto but that "only" added two hours to the trip and we sat where there was free beer. Short story long I don't actively seek out fitting a train trip into my vacations now.

After 2 whole years, I finally took delivery last night. The last week felt like eternity. These are the first pics I was able to snag after parking at work this morning.

Like everyone says, the wait is worth it, and pics don't do it justice.

4th Estimated delivery date change. Now 10/25-10/31. I will call our dealership today to see if they can shine some light on this and maybe nudge it home.
