8/8/22 Build Week Group.

Same. Everything stopped 9/29. My understanding is the ship date window was auto activated each week after non ship. Ford's just stopped that. I'm hoping it's just the process of clearing out the remaining August builds as Ford enters new production phase for October. Made it this far, but this is the most difficult.

Ford chat on Friday gave me hope that a possible reason for it to be pending an update for so long is because they were able to get transportation squared away, but we will see about that this coming week if there is an update or not

6th delivery window estimate posted (again) 2-3 days after it began.
39 days and waiting but YEAH, delivery in a week or less. Sure thang!

Overnight my delivery window updated to the same thing. I also received the shipped email overnight. Of course the trackers were showing shipped 3 days ago after sitting at MAP for 37 days too. It's obvious that their tracking ability is horrible. They need to get with Amazon and take some logistics classes.

Delivery window page auto updates every 2 weeks. Just to mess with your mind!
On a side note, I do enjoy Cheetohs.

Officially "delivered" on the 22nd. Actually delivered to the dealership today.

Dealer gave a quote on ceramic tint that was $100 less than anyone else, so I'm going to let them do a tint before picking her up tomorrow.

Dealer's official motto is "No Bull", we'll find out tomorrow.

Day 40.
Received phone call today from Ford saying, my Bronco was shipping via rail and would be delivered by 10/28. I thought this was funny considering dealer is 80 miles from MAP. Another phone call to my besties at Ford Bronco Marketing (in Orlando), and I'm told that information is incorrect. Well, yeah! My Bronco is actually still at the ranch that is MAP, sitting in the sun and elements — (I hope the top holds up). Delivery window (#6) is closing fast though, 10/7-10/13.
I'd say my Pony will gallup into next week.

On a positive note, I did receive an email from Ford at 9:11pm on 10/11/22, informing me my estimated delivery window had been updated to: 10/7-10/13.

So... I have the Bronco.

Still confused as to exactly what happened at the dealership. They originally tried to charge me $800 off sticker instead of $2000 off Sticker (Retail price protection is $2k on a 2-door base).

Eventually left paying $800 less than the 2022 DORA, or $2900 less than sticker, because the sales manager gave me the MY21 price difference, AND missed the $100 delivery increase. So... while touch and go, it worked out.

First thoughts: there is no reason to use 1st gear on city streets.

Second thought: these things do not engine brake even half as good as a naturally aspirated engine.

Third: I think I might actually like my new color (HPR) better than my discontinued color (Rapid Red)

Sure would be nice if the rest of the August Builds got delivered before the MY23s start arriving.

I think I am going to have the same battle when my ride arrives. It's shipped and on the way. When I asked for numbers, I noticed the line item for price protection only said $825. So it doesn't include the MY22.5 increase of $1750. Going to send him an email in the next hour or so to see about it. Rather address it now instead of delivery day.
