OK I watched it - two things:

1.) You don't like the shifter because clearly you got the wrong one, especially for a Viking!

2.) When you talked about getting cut, all I thought of was this:

Yeah I'm sure the manual shifter feels 10x better. More of a round shape. You won't feel like you're jerking off Optimus Prime.
